Galatians 2:5 Cross References - Whiston

⁵ We gave place by subjection, [no not] for an hour; that the truth of the gospel might continue with you.

² But when Paul and Barnabas had no small dissension and disputation with them, Paul said that they should abide so as they had believed, and said it with great assurance. But those that came from Jerusalem charged them, Paul and Barnabas and certain others, to go up to the Apostles and Elders to Jerusalem that a determination might be made by them concerning this question.

¹⁴ But when I saw that they walked not uprightly, according to the truth of the gospel, I said unto Peter before all, If thou, a Jew, livest after the manner of Gentiles, and not as do the Jews, How compellest thou the Gentiles to live as do the Jews?

¹ O foolish Galatians, who hath bewitched you? before whose eyes Jesus Christ hath been evidently set forth, crucified among you. ² This only would I learn of you, received ye the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of Faith?

¹⁶ Am I therefore become your enemy, because I tell you the truth?

¹³ In whom ye also did so, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,

⁵ For the hope which is laid up for you in heaven, whereof ye have already heard in the Word of the truth of the gospel:

⁴ And this I say, lest any one should beguile you with enticing words. ⁵ For though I be absent in the flesh, yet am I with you in the spirit, joying and beholding your order, and the stedfastness of your faith in Christ. ⁶ As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, walk ye in him: ⁷ Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have also been taught, abounding in him with thanksgiving. ⁸ Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ:

¹³ For this cause also thank we God without ceasing, because when ye received the word of God which ye heard of us, ye received [it] not [as] the word of men, but, as it is in truth, the word of God, which effectually worketh also in you that believe.

³ Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of our common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you, that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.
