² And entering into a ship of Adramyttium, we lanched, meaning to sail to the places of Asia, one Aristarchus a Macedonian of Thessalonica, being with us.

²² But it came to pass on one of the days that he went up into a ship with his disciples: and he said unto them, Let us go over unto the other side of the lake. And they lanched forth.

⁹ Parthians, and Medes, and Elamites, and the dwellers in Mesopotamia, in Judea, and Cappadocia, in Pontus, and Asia,

⁹ [And] one like a man of Macedonia appeared to Paul in a vision in the night, standing over against him, and prayed, saying, Come over into Macedonia, and help us. ¹⁰ When therefore he was risen he declared to us the vision, and we understood that the Lord had called us to preach the gospel unto those that were in Macedonia. ¹¹ Now on the morrow, loosing from Troas, we came with a straight course to Samothracia, and the next day to Neapolis; ¹² And from thence to Philippi, which is the head of Macedonia, a colony: and we were in that city abiding certain days. ¹³ But on the sabbath-day we went out of the gate by the river, where there appeared to be an house of prayer: and we sat down and spake unto the women who came along with us.

¹⁷ She followed Paul, and us,and cried, saying, These are the servants of the most high God, who preach unto you the way of salvation.

¹ Now when they had passed through Amphipolis, they came to Apollonia, and thence to Thessalonica, where was a synagogue of the Jews.

¹⁹ Many also of them who used curious arts, brought their books also together, and burned them before all: [and] they counted the price of them, and found it fifty thousand [pieces of] silver.

²⁹ And the whole city was filled with confusion: and having caught Gaius and Aristarchus, men of Macedonia, Paul's companions in travel, they rushed with one accord into the theatre.

⁴ And when he was about to go forth, Sopater of Berea; and of the Thessalonians, Aristarchus and Secundus, and Gaius; Of Derbe, Timothy; and of the Ephesians Eutychus and Trophimus accompanied him as far as Asia. ⁵ But these going before, tarried for him at Troas.

¹⁵ And we sailed thence, and came the next [day] over against Chios; and the next [day] we arrived at Samos, and tarried at Trogyllia; and the next [day] we came to Miletus. ¹⁶ For Paul had determined to sail by Ephesus, lest somewhat should detain him in Asia: for he hasted to be at Jerusalem against the day of Pentecost.

¹ And it came to pass, that after we were parted from them, and had lanched, we came with a straight course unto Coos, and the [day] following unto Rhodes, and from thence unto Patara, and Myra. ² And finding a ship sailing over unto Phenicia, we went aboard, and set forth. ³ Now when we had discovered Cyprus, leaving it on the left hand, we sailed into Syria, and came down to Tyre: for there the ship was to unlade her burden.

⁵ And when we had accomplished those days, we departed, and the next day we went out and walked our way, and they all brought us on our journey, with wives and children, till[we] [were] out of the city: and we kneeled down on the shore, and prayed.

² And the barbarous people shewed us no little kindness: for they kindled a fire, and refreshed us every one, because of the present rain, and because of the cold.

¹⁰ Who also honoured us with many honours, and when we departed, they laded [us] with such things as were necessary.

¹² And landing at Syracuse, we tarried three days.

¹⁶ And when we came to Rome, Paul was suffered to dwell by himself, with a soldier that kept him.

¹⁰ Aristarchus my fellow-prisoner saluteth you, and Marcus sisters son to Barnabas, touching whom ye received commandments; if he come unto you, receive him.
