⁴³ For there is no good tree which bringeth forth corrupt fruit, neither a corrupt tree, which bringeth forth good fruit.

¹⁰ But even the axe already lieth at the root of the trees; therefore every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit, is hewn down and cast into the fire.

¹⁶ By their fruits ye shall know them. Do men gather grapes from thorns, or figs from thistles? ¹⁷ So every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. ¹⁸ A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. ¹⁹ Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit, is hewn down, and cast into the fire. ²⁰ Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

³³ Either make the tree good and its fruit good, or make the tree corrupt and its fruit corrupt; for the tree is known by its fruit.
