²² And it hath often cast him both into the fire and into the water to destroy him; but if thou canst do any thing, have compassion on us and help us. ²³ Jesus saith to him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth. ²⁴ And straightway the father of the child crying out, said with tears, Lord, I do believe: help thou mine unbelief.

¹⁸ and the Gentiles, to whom I now send thee, To open their eyes, that they may turn from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God; that they may receive through faith which is in me, forgiveness of sins, and an inheritance among them that are sanctified. ¹⁹ From that time, O king Agrippa, I was not disobedient to the heavenly vision, ²⁰ But first to them at Damascus and at Jerusalem, and through all the country of Judea, and then to the Gentiles I declare, that they should repent and turn to God, doing works worthy of repentance.

¹¹ And he received the sign of circumcision, a seal of the righteousness of the faith, which he had in uncircumcision, that he might be the father of all who believe in uncircumcision, that righteousness may be imputed to them also, ¹² And the father of the circumcision, to them who not only are of the circumcision, but also walk in the footsteps of that faith of our father Abraham, which he had in uncircumcision.

³³ Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth.

² That ye may receive her in the Lord, as becometh saints, and assist her in whatsoever business she needeth you: for she hath been an helper of many, and of myself also. ³ Salute Priscilla and Aquila, my fellow-labourers in Christ Jesus: ⁴ Who for my life, have laid down their own necks; to whom not I alone owe my thanks, but likewise all the churches of the Gentiles.

⁹ I wrote to you in an epistle, Not to converse with lewd persons. ¹⁰ But not altogether with the lewd persons of this world, or the covetous, or the rapacious, or idolaters, for then ye must go out of the world. ¹¹ But I have now written unto you, if any who is named a brother, be a lewd person, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or rapacious, not to converse with such an one, no, not to eat with him.

⁹ Know ye not, that the unjust shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor the effeminate, ¹⁰ nor sodomites, Nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor revilers, nor the rapacious shall inherit the kingdom of God. ¹¹ And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.

⁵ Withdraw not from each other, unless it be by consent for a time, that ye may give yourselves to prayer, and may come together again, lest Satan tempt you through your incontinence.

²⁷ And if any of the unbelievers invite you, and ye are disposed to go, eat whatever is set before you, asking no questions for conscience sake.

¹² And now we see by means of a glass obscurely; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then I shall know even as also I am known.

⁵⁸ Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labour is not vain in the Lord.

¹⁰ To whom ye forgive any thing, I forgive also: and if I forgive any thing, to whom I forgive it, it is for your sakes, in the person of Christ.

¹⁷ Therefore if any one be in Christ, there is a new creation: the old things are passed way; behold, all things are become new:

¹⁶ And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? Now ye are the temple of the living God, as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them, and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people.

²³ If any inquire concerning Titus, he is my partner, and fellow-labourer with respect to you; or concerning our brethren, they are the messengers of the churches, the glory of Christ.

² For I am jealous over you with a godly jealousy; for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ.

²⁷ In labour and toil, in watchings often, in hunger and thirst, in fastings often, in cold and nakedness.

²⁴ And they glorified God in me.

⁴ being a Greek, compelled to be circumcised, Because of false brethren introduced unawares, who came in privily, to spy out our liberty which we have through Christ Jesus, that they might bring us into bondage:

¹² For before certain men came from James, he ate with the Gentiles; but when they were come, he withdrew and separated himself, fearing those of the circumcision. ¹³ And the other Jews also dissembled with him, so that even Barnabas was carried away with their dissimulation. ¹⁴ But when I saw, that they walked not uprightly, according to the truth of the gospel, I said to Cephas before them all, If thou being a Jew, livest after the manner of the Gentiles, and not as do the Jews, why compellest thou the Gentiles to judaize?

⁹ But now having known God, or rather being known of God, how turn ye back to the weak and beggarly elements, to which ye desire to be in bondage again? ¹⁰ Ye observe days, and months, and times, and years. I am afraid for you, lest I have laboured upon you in vain. ¹¹ Brethren, I beseech you, be ye as I am; for I also am as ye were: ye have not injured me at all.

¹ Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made you free, and be not intangled again with the yoke of bondage. ² Behold, I Paul say unto you, If ye be circumcised, Christ shall profit you nothing. ³ For I testify again to every man that is circumcised, he is a debtor to do the whole law. ⁴ Christ is become of no effect to you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace. ⁵ For we through the Spirit wait for the hope of righteousness by faith. ⁶ For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision, but faith which worketh by love.

² Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.

⁹ But let us not be weary of well doing; for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.

¹³ For neither they who are circumcised keep the law; but they desire to have you circumcised, that they may glory in your flesh. ¹⁴ But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by which the world is crucified to me, and I unto the world.

²⁵ Husbands, love your wives, as Christ also loved the church and gave himself for it; ²⁶ That he might sanctify it (having cleansed it by the washing of water) through the word: ²⁷ That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle, or any such thing, that it may be holy and unblamable.

¹³ Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any have a complaint against any; even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.

¹⁵ This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am the chief. ¹⁶ Yet for this cause I obtained mercy, that on me the chief Jesus Christ might shew all long-suffering, for a pattern to them who should hereafter believe in him to life everlasting.

⁸ For bodily exercise profiteth a little; but godliness is profitable for all things, having the promise of the present life, and of that which is to come.

²⁵ In like manner the good works also of some are manifest; and they that are otherwise cannot be hid.

²⁵ apt to teach, patient of evil, In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if haply God may give them repentance, to the acknowledging of the truth; ²⁶ And they may awake out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.

¹ Now faith is the subsistence of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. ² And by it the elders obtained a good testimony.

³⁹ And all these having obtained a good testimony thro' faith,

⁹ Be not carried about with divers and strange doctrines; for it is good, that the heart be stablished with grace, not with meats, in which they that have walked have not been profited. ¹⁰ We have an altar, whereof they have no right to eat who serve the tabernacle.

¹⁸ But one will say, Thou hast faith, and I have works. Shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.

¹⁴ Is any among you sick? let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, having anointed him with oil in the name of the Lord: ¹⁵ And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up, and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.

⁹ The Lord is not slow concerning his promise (tho' some men count it slowness) but is long-suffering toward us, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

¹³ like a son of man, cloathed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about at the breast with a golden girdle.

¹⁷ And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead: and he laid his right-hand upon me, saying, Fear not, I am the First and the Last,

²³ And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know, that I am he who searcheth the reins and hearts; and I will give you, every man, according to your works.

⁷ Let us be glad and rejoice and give the glory to him; for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready. ⁸ And it is given to her, to be arrayed in fine linen, white and clean; the fine linen is the righteousness of the saints. ⁹ And he saith to me, Write: Happy are they who are invited to the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith to me, These are the true sayings of God.

⁵ And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold I make all things new. And he saith to me, Write: these sayings are faithful and true.

⁸ And it was I John, who heard and saw these things; and when I had heard and seen, I fell down to worship at the feet of the angel who shewed me these things. ⁹ But he saith to me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellow-servant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them who keep the sayings of this book; worship God.
