¹¹ But we desire that every one of you would shew unto the end the same diligence, to the full assurance of hope,

¹³ But he that shall endure to the end, the same shall be saved.

⁸ He that imparteth, let him do it with simplicity; he that presideth, with diligence; he that sheweth mercy, with chearfulness.

¹¹ Not slothful in business, servent in spirit, serving the Lord: ¹² Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, continue instant in prayer.

¹⁵ Let us therefore, as many as are perfect, be thus minded; and if in any thing ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you.

⁵ your love to all the saints) For the hope which is laid up for you in heaven,

²³ If ye continue in the faith, grounded and settled, and are not removed from the hope of the gospel which ye have heard, which is preached to every creature that is under heaven, whereof I Paul am made a minister.

² That their hearts may be comforted, being knit together in love, even unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding, unto the acknowledgment of the mystery of God,

¹⁸ That by two unchangeable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have strong consolation, who have fled to lay hold on the hope set before us: ¹⁹ Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast, and which entereth into that within the veil, ²⁰ Whither Jesus our fore-runner is entered for us, made an high-priest for ever after the order of Melchisedek.

² By whom also we have been introduced through faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. ³ And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also, ⁴ knowing that tribulation worketh patience, And patience experience, and experience hope; ⁵ And hope shameth us not, because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts, by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.

²⁴ For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope; for what a man seeth, how doth he yet hope for? ²⁵ But if we hope for what we see not, we patiently wait for it.

¹³ Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, by the power of the Holy Ghost.

¹³ And now abide these three, faith, hope, love; but the greatest of these is love.

⁵⁸ Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labour is not vain in the Lord.

⁵ For we through the Spirit wait for the hope of righteousness by faith.

⁹ But let us not be weary of well doing; for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.

⁹ And this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more, in all knowledge and in all spiritual sense, ¹⁰ That ye may try the things that are excellent, that ye may be sincere and without offence unto the day of Christ, ¹¹ Being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are through Christ Jesus, to the glory and praise of God.

⁵ For our gospel came not to you in word only, but also with power, and with the Holy Ghost, and with much assurance; as ye know what manner of men we were among you, for your sake.

¹⁰ And indeed ye do it toward all the brethren that are in all Macedonia; but we exhort you, brethren, that ye increase more and more,

¹⁶ Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself and God even our Father, who hath loved us and given us everlasting consolation and good hope thro' grace, ¹⁷ Comfort your hearts and stablish you in every good word and work.

¹³ And ye, brethren, be not weary in well-doing.

⁶ But Christ as a Son over his own house, whose house we are, if we hold fast the confidence and the glorying of hope, firm to the end.

¹⁴ (For we are made partakers of Christ, if

²² Let us draw near with a true heart, in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.

³² But call ye to mind the former days, in which, after ye were inlightened, ye endured so great a conflict of sufferings: ³³ Partly being made a gazing-stock both by reproaches and afflictions; partly being partakers with them who were so used. ³⁴ For ye sympathized with my bonds, and received with joy the spoiling of your goods, knowing that ye have in heaven a better and an enduring substance. ³⁵ Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward.

³ Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who, according to his abundant mercy, hath begotten us again to a living hope, by the resurrection of Christ from the dead, ⁴ To an inheritance incorruptible and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you, ⁵ Who are kept by the power of God thro' faith unto salvation, ready to be revealed in the last time.

²¹ Who thro' him believe in God, that raised him from the dead, and gave him glory, that your faith and hope, might be in God.

⁵ For this very reason giving all diligence, add to your faith courage, ⁶ and to courage knowledge, And to knowledge temperance, and to temperance patience, ⁷ and to patience godliness, And to godliness brotherly kindness, and to brotherly kindness love. ⁸ For these being in you and abounding, make you neither slothful nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

¹⁰ Wherefore the rather, brethren, be diligent to make your calling and election firm; for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall.

¹⁴ Wherefore, beloved, seeing ye look for these things, labour to be found of him in peace, without spot and blameless.

¹ Behold what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the Sons of God; therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not. ² Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know, when he shall appear, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is. ³ And every one that hath this hope in him, purifieth himself even as he is pure.

¹⁴ We know, that we are passed from death to life, because we love the brethren: he that loveth not his brother abideth in death.

¹⁹ And hereby we know that we are of the truth, and shall assure our hearts before him.

²⁶ And he that overcometh and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations.
