¹⁴ For he is our peace, he who hath made both one,

⁷⁹ To give light to them that sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to direct our feet into the way of peace.

¹⁴ and on earth peace; goodwill toward men.

²⁰ And by him to reconcile all things to himself (having made peace by him, through the blood of the cross) whether things on earth, or things in heaven.

¹⁰ And ye are filled by him, who is the head of all principality and power. ¹¹ By whom also ye are circumcised with a circumcision not made with hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh, by the circumcision of Christ: ¹² Buried with him in baptism, by which ye are also risen with him, through the faith of the operation of God, who raised him from the dead. ¹³ And you who were dead in trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, ¹⁴ having forgiven you all trespasses, Having blotted out by his decrees the hand-writing against us, which was contrary to us; and having nailed it to his cross, he took it out of the way.

²⁰ Therefore if ye are dead with Christ from the rudiments of the world, why, as living in the world, receive ye ordinances,

¹⁶ I have also other sheep which are not of this fold: I must bring them likewise, and they will hear my voice, and there shall be one flock, and one shepherd.

⁵² And not for that nation only, but that he might also gather into one all the children of God that were scattered abroad.

³³ I have spoken these things to you, that ye may have peace in me. In the world ye shall have tribulation; but take courage: I have overcome the world.

²⁸ And he said to them, Ye know it is unlawful for a Jew to join with or come to one of another nation; but God hath shewed me, to call no man common or unclean.

³⁶ This is the word which he sent to the children of Israel, preaching the glad tidings of peace through Jesus Christ; He is Lord of all.

¹ Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God, through our Lord Jesus Christ:

¹² For as the body is one, and yet hath many members, but all the members of the body, many as they are, are one body, so is Christ. ¹³ For we are all baptized by one Spirit into one body, whether we are Jews or Gentiles, whether slaves or freemen; and we have all drank of one Spirit.

²⁸ There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female; for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.

¹⁵ having broken down the middle wall of partition, Having abolished by his flesh the enmity, the law of commandments, through his decrees, that he might make the two one new man in himself, so making peace:

¹⁵ And the peace of God shall rule in your hearts, to which also ye are called in one body: and be ye thankful.
