⁷ In which ye also once walked, when ye lived in them.

¹³ And you who were dead in trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him,

¹⁹ I speak as a man, because of the weakness of your flesh. As ye have presented your members servants to uncleanness and iniquity, unto iniquity, so now present your members servants of righteousness, unto holiness. ²⁰ For when ye were the servants of sin, ye were free from righteousness.

⁵ For when we were in the flesh, sinful passions, which were by the law, wrought in our members, so as to bring forth fruit unto death.

¹¹ And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.

² who were dead in trespasses and sins, Wherein ye formerly walked, according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the sons of disobedience: Among whom also we all had our conversation in time past,

³ For we also were once foolish, disobedient, deceived, inslaved to various desires and pleasures, living in wickedness and envy, hateful, hating one another:

³ For the time past of your life sufficeth to have wrought the will of the Gentiles, when ye walked in lasciviousness, evil desires, excess of wine, revellings, banquetings, and abominable idolatries. ⁴ Wherein they think it strange, that ye run not with them to the same excess of riot,
