2 Corinthians 11:6 Cross References - Wesley

⁶ For if I am unskilful in speech, yet not in knowledge; but we have been throughly manifest to you in all things.

¹⁷ I know not that I baptized any other. For Christ did not send me to baptize, but to preach the gospel; but not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect.

²¹ For since, in the wisdom of God, the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.

¹ And I, brethren, when I came to you, came not with excellency of speech or of wisdom, declaring to you the testimony of God. ² For I determined not to know any thing among you save Jesus Christ, and him crucified. ³ And I was with you in weakness, and in fear, and in much trembling.

¹³ Which also we speak, not in words taught by human wisdom, but in those taught by the Holy Spirit, explaining spiritual things by spiritual words.

² not walking in craftiness, nor deceitfully corrupting the word of God, but by manifestation of the truth, commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God.

¹¹ Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men: but we are made manifest to God, and I trust we are made manifest in your consciences also.

² Receive us. We have hurt no man, we have corrupted no man, we have defrauded no man.

¹⁰ For his letters indeed, say they, are weighty and strong; but his bodily presence is weak, and his speech contemptible.

¹² Truly the signs of an apostle were wrought among you, in all patience, in signs, and wonders, and mighty deeds.

⁴ By reading which ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ:

¹⁵ And account the long-suffering of our Lord salvation, as our beloved brother Paul also, according to the wisdom given him, hath written to you: ¹⁶ As also in all his epistles, speaking therein of these things, in which are some things hard to be understood, which the unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, to their own destruction.
