¹⁹ So then the Lord, after he had spoken to them, was received up into heaven, and sat on the right-hand of God.

¹ If ye then are risen with Christ, seek the things above, where Christ sitteth at the right-hand of God.

²⁰ Whither Jesus our fore-runner is entered for us, made an high-priest for ever after the order of Melchisedek.

¹ The sum of what hath been spoken is, We have such an high priest, who is set down at the right-hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens,

⁴² And David himself saith in the book of Psalms, The Lord said unto my Lord,

¹¹ behold two men, in white apparel, stood by them, Who also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing into heaven? This Jesus who is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come, as ye have seen him going into heaven.

³⁴ For David is not ascended into the heavens; but he saith himself, The Lord said to my Lord, ³⁵ Sit thou on my right-hand, Until I make thine enemies thy footstool. ³⁶ Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, That God hath made this Jesus whom ye crucified, both Lord and Christ.

³⁴ Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is also at the right-hand of God, who likewise maketh intercession for us.

³⁸ For I am persuaded that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers,

²⁴ Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father, when he shall have abolished all rule and all authority and power.

²⁰ Which he wrought in Christ, raising him from the dead; and he hath made him sit at his own right-hand in heavenly places, ²¹ Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come.

³ Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and sustaining all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the majesty on high,

¹³ But to which of the angels did he ever say, Sit at my right hand, till I make thine enemies thy footstool?

¹² But he having offered one sacrifice for sins,

² who for the joy that was set before him, endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right-hand of the throne of God.
