²² What! have ye not houses to eat and to drink in? or do ye despise the church of God, and shame them that have not? what shall I say to you? shall I praise you in this?

²⁸ Take heed therefore to yourselves and to the whole flock, over which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.

³² Give no offence either to the Jews, or to the Gentiles, or to the church of God:

² Now I praise you, brethren, that ye remember me in all things, and keep the orders, as I delivered them to you.

¹⁷ But in this which I declare, I praise you not, that ye come together not for the better, but for the worse.

⁹ For I am the least of the apostles, who am not worthy to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God.

⁵ For if a man know not how to rule his own house, how shall he take care of the church of God?
