³ He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber.

⁷ The LORD will preserve thee from all evil: he will preserve thy soul. ⁸ The LORD will preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for ever.

⁷ The just man walketh in his integrity: his children are blessed after him.

²⁵ The fear of man bringeth a snare: but he who putteth his trust in the LORD shall be safe.

³ But with me it is a very small thing that I should be judged by you, or by man's judgment: yes, I judge not my own self. ⁴ For I know nothing against myself; yet am I not hereby justified: but he that judgeth me is the Lord. ⁵ Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord shall come, who will both bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts: and then shall every man have praise from God. ⁶ And these things, brethren, I have in a figure transferred to myself, and to Apollos, for your sakes; that ye may learn in us not to think of men above that which is written, that no one of you on account of one, may be puffed up against another.

¹² For our rejoicing is this, the testimony of our conscience, that in simplicity and godly sincerity, not with fleshly wisdom, but by the grace of God, we have had our manner of life in the world, and more abundantly toward you.

²³ Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; for he is faithful that promised:

⁵ Who are kept by the power of God through faith to salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.
