¹ Paul, an apostle, (not from men, neither by man, but by Jesus Christ, and God the Father, who raised him from the dead;)

¹⁸ And Jesus came, and spoke to them, saying, All power is given to me in heaven and upon earth. ¹⁹ Go ye therefore and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. ²⁰ Teaching them to observe all things whatever I have commanded you: and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the world. ²⁴ Whom God hath raised up, having loosed the pains of death: because it was not possible that he should be held by it. ²⁵ For David speaketh concerning him, I saw the Lord always before my face, for he is on my right hand, that I should not be moved: ²⁶ Therefore did my heart rejoice, and my tongue was glad; moreover also, my flesh shall rest in hope: ²⁷ Because thou wilt not leave my soul in hell, neither wilt thou suffer thy Holy One to see corruption: ²⁸ Thou hast made known to me the ways of life; thou wilt make me full of joy with thy countenance. ²⁹ Men, brethren, let me freely speak to you concerning the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his sepulcher is with us to this day. ³⁰ Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn to him with an oath, that from the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, he would raise up Christ to sit on his throne; ³¹ He seeing this before, spoke of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell, neither did his flesh see corruption. ³² This Jesus hath God raised up, of which we all are witnesses.

¹⁵ And killed the Prince of life, whom God hath raised from the dead; of which we are witnesses.

⁶ And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what wilt thou have me to do? And the Lord said to him, Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do.

¹⁵ But the Lord said to him, Go, for he is a chosen vessel to me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel. ¹⁶ For I will show him how great things he must suffer for my name's sake.

¹⁶ But rise, and stand upon thy feet: for I have appeared to thee for this purpose, to make thee a minister and a witness both of the things which thou hast seen, and of the things in which I will appear to thee; ¹⁷ Delivering thee from the people, and from the Gentiles, to whom now I send thee, ¹⁸ To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them who are sanctified by faith that is in me.

¹ Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, separated to the gospel of God,

⁴ And declared to be the Son of God, with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead: ⁵ By whom we have received grace and apostleship for obedience to the faith among all nations for his name:

²⁴ But for us also, to whom it will be imputed, if we believe on him that raised Jesus our Lord from the dead, ²⁵ Who was delivered for our offenses, and raised again for our justification.

⁹ That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thy heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

⁹ For to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived, that he might be Lord both of the dead and the living.

¹ Do we begin again to commend ourselves? or need we, as some others, epistles of commendation to you, or letters of commendation from you. ² Ye are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read by all men: ³ Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not on tables of stone, but on fleshly tables of the heart.

¹¹ But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached by me is not according to man. ¹² For I neither received it from man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ.

¹⁷ Neither did I go to Jerusalem to them who were apostles before me: but I went into Arabia, and returned again to Damascus.

¹⁹ And what is the exceeding greatness of his power toward us who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, ²⁰ Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places,

⁸ To me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ;

¹¹ According to the glorious gospel of the blessed God, which was committed to my trust. ¹² And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who hath enabled me, for that he counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry; ¹³ Who was before a blasphemer, and a persecutor, and injurious: but I obtained mercy, because I did it ignorantly in unbelief: ¹⁴ And the grace of our Lord was exceeding abundant with faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.

³ But hath in due times manifested his word through preaching, which is committed to me according to the commandment of God our Savior;

²⁰ Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant,

²¹ Who by him do believe in God, that raised him from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God.

⁵ And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first-begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. To him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,

¹⁸ I am he that liveth, and was dead; and behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.
