⁶ You will be concerned when you hear of wars and rumors of wars; see to it that you not get worked up; for all of it has to happen, but the end is not yet.

⁷ But whenever you hear of wars and rumors of wars, don’t let it distress you; because happen they must, but the end is not yet. ⁸ Because nation will be raised against nation, and kingdom against kingdom; and there will be earthquakes in various places, and there will be famines and tumults. These things are the beginning of birth pangs.

⁹ But whenever you hear of wars and insurrections, do not be terrified; because these things must happen first, but the end will not come right away.”

³⁷ Because I say to you that this which is written must still be fulfilled in me: ‘And he was classed with the lawless’; and because the things concerning me have an end.”
