1 Now the feast of unleavened bread, which is called ‘Passover’, drew near.

Matthew 26:2-5

2 “You know that after two days the Passover takes place, and the Son of the Man will be handed over to be crucified.” 3 Then the chief priests, the scribes and the elders of the people assembled at the palace of the high priest, the one called Caiaphas, 4 and they plotted to seize Jesus by trickery and kill Him. 5 But they said, “Not during the feast, in order not to have an uproar among the people.”

Mark 14:1-2

1 It was two days before the Passover and the Unleavened Bread. The chief priests and the scribes were looking for an underhanded way to seize and kill Him. 2 But they said, “Not during the feast, or the people may riot”.

Mark 14:12

12 Now on the first day of Unleavened Bread, when they would sacrifice the Paschal lamb, His disciples said to Him, “Where do you want us to go and prepare, so that you may eat the Passover?”

John 11:55-57

55 Now the Jewish Passover was near, and many from the country went up to Jerusalem before the Passover in order to purify themselves. 56 So they were looking for Jesus, and as they stood in the temple they were saying to each other, “What do you think—that he won’t come to the feast at all?” 57 Now the chief priests and the Pharisees had together issued an edict that if anyone knew where He was he should report it, so they could arrest Him.

1 Corinthians 5:7-8

7 Therefore purge out the old leaven, so that you can be a new batch, like you are, without yeast. Especially since Christ our Passover has been sacrificed in our place. 8 So then let us observe the feast, not with old leaven, nor with the yeast of malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened loaves of sincerity and truth.
