⁸ I will signal for them, and gather them; for I have redeemed them; and they will increase as they have increased.

⁷ And the Israelites were fruitful and multiplied and were many and were very, very numerous, and the land was filled with them.

²⁰ The people of Judah and Israel were as numerous as the grains of sand on the seashore. They ate and drank and were very happy.

²⁶ He will lift up a banner to the nations from far, and he will whistle for them from the end of the earth. Look, they will come speedily and swiftly.

¹⁸ "In that day the LORD will whistle for the flies that are at the distant branches of the Nile River in Egypt and for the bees that are in Assyria.

¹¹ It will happen in that day that the Lord will set his hand again the second time to recover the remnant that is left of his people from Assyria, from Egypt, from Pathros, from Cush, from Elam, from Shinar, from Hamath, and from the islands of the sea. ¹² And he will erect a standard for the nations, and gather together the outcasts of Israel, and assemble the dispersed of Juda from the four quarters of the earth.

¹² In that day the LORD will thresh from the flowing Euphrates River to the Wadi (streambed) of Egypt. You, O Israelites, will be gathered up one by one. ¹³ A great trumpet will sound. Those who were perishing in Assyria and those who were exiled in Egypt will come and worship the LORD on the holy mountain in Jerusalem.

²² I have wiped your transgressions out like a cloud and your sins like mist. Return to me, for I have redeemed you!"

¹⁹ "Even if you are destroyed and demolished, and your land is in ruins, you will be too crowed for your people. Those who devoured you will be long gone. ²⁰ The children of your bereavement will say in your ears, 'This place is too small for me. Give me a place to live in.' ²¹ Then you will say in your heart, "Who has borne me these?" And, "I was bereaved and barren, exiled and thrust away; so who raised these? Look at me! I was left alone; ⌊where have these come from⌋?" ²² Thus saith the Lord God: Behold I will lift up my hand to the Gentiles, and will set up my standard to the people. And they shall bring thy sons in their arms, and carry thy daughters upon their shoulders.

¹¹ the LORD's ransomed will return. They will enter Zion with singing! Everlasting joy will crown their heads. Gladness and joy will overtake them, and sorrow and sighing will flee away.

¹ Awake, awake, O Zion, put on your strength. Put on your beautiful garments, O Jerusalem, the holy city. The uncircumcised and defiled will not enter you again. ² Shake off your dust! Rise up and sit enthroned, O Jerusalem. Free yourself from the chains on your neck, O captive Daughter of Zion. ³ For this is what the LORD says: "You were sold for nothing, and without money you will be redeemed."

¹ Come, all you who are thirsty, come to the water. You, who have no money, come, buy and eat! Come, buy wine and milk without money and without cost. ² Why spend money on what is not bread, and your labor on what does not satisfy? Listen, listen to me, and eat what is good, and you will delight in the richest of fare. ³ Give ear and come to me; listen to me, that you may live. I will make an everlasting covenant with you, my faithful love promised to David.

¹⁹ And from them will go out praise and the sound of laughing: and I will make them great in number, and they will not become less; and I will give them glory, and they will not be small. ²⁰ Their children will be as they were before, and their congregation will be established before me. I'll punish all who oppress them.

¹⁰ Hear the word of the LORD, O nations. Declare in the coastlands afar off. Say: "He who scattered Israel will gather him and keep him as a shepherd keeps his flock. ¹¹ For the LORD will deliver Jacob and redeem him from the hand of one stronger than he.

²² "'I will increase the descendants of my servant David and the Levites who serve me in the same way as the stars of heaven that cannot be counted and the sand on the seashore that cannot be measured.'"

¹⁰ and I will multiply men upon you, all the house of Israel, even all of it: and the cities shall be inhabited, and the ruins shall be built. ¹¹ "'I will increase the number of people and animals that live on you. They will grow and become many. I will let people live on you as in the past, and I will make you better off than ever before. Then you will know that I am the LORD.

³⁷ "This is what the Sovereign LORD says: 'I will also let the people of Israel ask me to make them as numerous as sheep. ³⁸ As a holy flock, as the flock of Jerusalem in her appointed feasts, so shall the waste cities be filled with flocks of men. And they shall know that I am the LORD.

¹⁰ The number of the children of Israel will be like the sand of the sea that cannot be measured or counted; and in the place where it is said to them, "You are not my people," it will be said to them, "Children of the living God."

¹¹ As for you also, because of the blood of your covenant, I will release your prisoners from the waterless pit.

²⁸ Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.

⁴ who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth. ⁵ For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, ⁶ who gave himself as a ransom for allthe testimony given at the proper time.

¹⁷ And the Spirit and the bride say Come. And let him who hears, say Come. And he who is thirsty, let him come. And whosoever will, let him take of the living water freely.
