1 For the conclusion. A Psalm by David. The heavens declare the glory of God, and the firmament proclaimeth the work of his hands.
2 Day after day they pour forth speech, and night after night they display knowledge.
3 There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard.
4 Their voice has gone out through all the earth, their words to the end of the world. In them he has set a tent for the sun,
5 which is as a bridegroom coming out of his room, like a strong man rejoicing to run his course.
6 It rises from one end of the heavens. It circles around to the other. Nothing is hidden from its heat.
7 The law of the LORD is perfect, refreshing the soul, The testimonies of the LORD are stedfast, Making wise the simple,
8 The precepts of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart; the commands of the LORD are pure, giving light to the eyes.
9 The fear of the LORD is clean, standing forever. The judgments of the LORD are true; they are altogether righteous.
10 They are more precious than gold, even much fine gold, and sweeter than honey and drops from the honeycomb.
11 Moreover by them is your servant warned. In keeping them there is great reward.
12 Who can discern his errors? Forgive me from hidden errors.
13 Also, keep back your servant from arrogant sins; let them not rule over me. Then I shall be blameless, and I shall be innocent of great transgression.
14 Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing in Your sight, O LORD, my Rock and my Redeemer.

2 to tell the people of Israel: "If a person sins unintentionally and does not keep the LORD's commandments he would have to observe the following rules:
3 "If it is the High Priest who sins and brings guilt on the people, he should present a young bull without any defects and sacrifice it to the LORD for his sin.
4 And he shall bring the bullock to the entrance of the tent of meeting before the LORD; and shall lay his hand on the bullock`s head, and slaughter the bullock before the LORD.
5 The anointed priest shall take some of the bull's blood and shall bring it to the tent of assembly,
6 And the priest shall dip his finger in the blood, and sprinkle of the blood seven times before the LORD, in front of the veil of the sanctuary.
7 The priest shall put some of the blood on the horns of the altar of fragrant incense before the LORD, which is in the tent of assembly, and all the rest of the bull's blood he must pour out on the base of the altar of the burnt offering, which is at the entrance of the tent of assembly.
8 " 'He must remove all the fat from the bull of the sin offering: the fat that covers the inner parts and all of the fat that is on the inner parts,
9 and the two kidneys with the fat that is on them, which is on the loins, and the lobe of the liver, which he shall remove with the kidneys
10 as it is removed from the bull of the sacrifice of peace offerings. The priest shall burn them on the altar of burnt offering.
11 "But the hide of the bull and all its flesh with its head and its legs and its entrails and its refuse,
12 —all the rest of the bull—outside of the camp to a clean place where the ashes are poured out, and burn it on wood with fire. It shall be burned where the ashes are poured out.
13 “‘If the whole congregation of Israel sins, and the thing is hidden from the eyes of the assembly, and they have done any of the things which Yahweh has commanded not to be done, and are guilty;
14 when the sin in which they have sinned is known, then the assembly shall offer a young bull for a sin offering, and bring it before the Tent of Meeting.
15 And the elders of the community shall place their hands on the bull's head before the LORD, and he shall slaughter the bull before the LORD.
16 "Then the anointed priest will bring some of the bull's blood into the Tent of Meeting.
17 and shall dip his finger in the blood, and sprinkle it seven times before the LORD: even before the veil.
18 He shall put some of the blood on the horns of the altar which is before the LORD, that is in the Tent of Meeting; and the rest of the blood he shall pour out at the base of the altar of burnt offering, which is at the door of the Tent of Meeting.
19 "He will remove all the fat and burn it on the altar.
20 Thus he will do with the bullock, as he did with the bullock of the sin offering, so he will do with this. And the priest will make atonement for them and they will be forgiven.
21 He shall carry the bull outside the camp, and burn it as he burned the first bull. It is the sin offering for the assembly.
22 "When a ruler sins and becomes guilty of breaking one of the LORD's commands without intending to,
23 when his sin is showed unto him which he hath sinned, he shall bring for his offering a he goat without blemish,
24 He shall place his hand on the he-goat's head and slaughter it in the place where he slaughtered the burnt offering before the LORD; it is a sin offering.
25 The priest shall take some of the blood of the sin offering with his finger, and put it on the horns of the altar of burnt offering. He shall pour out the rest of its blood at the base of the altar of burnt offering.
26 He must turn all of its fat into smoke on the altar like the fat of the fellowship offerings' sacrifice, and the priest shall make atonement for him because of his sin, and he will be forgiven.
27 "When a common person unintentionally does something wrong, even one thing forbidden by the LORD's commandments, he will be guilty.
28 And shall come to know his sin: he shall offer a she goat without blemish.
29 and lay his hand upon the head of the sin offering, and slay it in the place of burnt offerings.
30 And the priest shall take some of the blood with his finger, and put it upon the horns of the altar of burnt offering, and shall pour out the rest of the blood at the bottom of the altar.
31 He must remove all of its fat just as the fat was removed from the fellowship offerings' sacrifice, and the priest shall turn it into smoke on the altar as an appeasing fragrance for the LORD. The priest shall make atonement for him, and he will be forgiven.
32 “'If he brings a lamb as his offering for a sin offering, he shall bring a female without defect.
33 and lay his hand upon the head of the sin offering, and slay it in the place where the burnt offerings are slain.
34 And the priest shall take some of the blood of the sin offering with his finger, and put it upon the horns of the altar of burnt offering, and shall pour out the rest of the blood at the bottom of the altar:
35 He shall remove all its fat, like the fat of the lamb is removed from the sacrifice of peace offerings. The priest shall burn them on the altar, on the offerings of the LORD made by fire. The priest shall make atonement for him concerning his sin that he has sinned, and he will be forgiven.
