¹⁷ Whenever the cloud lifted up from on the tent, after that the Israelites would set out, and in the place where the cloud dwelled, there the Israelites camped.

¹⁴ He said, "My presence will go with you, and I will give you rest." ¹⁵ Then Moses said to the LORD, "If your presence does not go with us, don't bring us up from here.

³⁶ In all their travels, when the column of smoke moved from the tent, the Israelites would break camp. ³⁷ But if the cloud was not lifted, they did not set out until the day of its being lifted. ³⁸ For the cloud of the LORD was over the tabernacle by day, and the fire was in it by night, in the sight of all the house of Israel in all their journeys.

²⁴ You shall guide me by Your counsel; and afterward You will take me to glory.

¹⁰ They shall not hunger nor shall they thirst, nor shall the burning wind nor the sun smite them; but he who hath compassion on them will comfort them and lead them to bursting springs of water.

³ The gatekeeper opens the gate for him, and the sheep listen to his voice. He calls his own sheep by name, and leads them out. ⁴ When he has brought out all his own, he goes on ahead of them, and his sheep follow him because they know his voice. ⁵ But they will never follow a stranger; in fact, they will flee from him because they do not recognize his voice.”

⁹ I am the gate. If anyone enters through Me, he will be saved. He will come in and go out and find pasture.
