⁴ You shall lay them up in the Tent of Meeting before the testimony, where I meet with you.

¹⁶ And you will put into the ark the testimony which I will give you. ¹⁷ And you are to make a cover of the best gold, two and a half cubits long and a cubit and a half wide. ¹⁸ And make two cherubims of thick gold on the two ends of the mercy seat; ¹⁹ "Make one cherub at one end and one cherub at the other end. You shall make the cherubim of one piece with the chest at its two ends. ²⁰ "The cherubim shall have their wings spread upward, covering the chest with their wings and facing one another. The faces of the cherubim are to be turned toward the chest. ²¹ And put the cover over the ark, and in the ark the record which I will give you. ²² "I will be above the throne of mercy between the angels whenever I meet with you. I will give you all my commandments for the Israelites.

⁴² It shall be a continual burnt offering throughout your generations at the door of the Tent of Meeting before the LORD, where I will meet with you, to speak there to you. ⁴³ "And I will meet with the Israelites there, and it will be consecrated by my glory.

⁶ You shall put the altar in front of the curtain that is over the Ark of the Testimony, in front of the Mercy Seat that is over the Testimony where I'll meet with you.

³⁶ You shall grind some of it fine, and put some before the Testimony in the Tent of Meeting where I shall meet with you. It shall be most holy to you.

⁷ And Moses laid the staves before the LORD in the tent of the testimony.
