¹⁰ When Jesus had entered Jerusalem, the whole city was stirred and asked, “Who is this?”

¹⁹ So the two of them went until they came to Bethlehem. And when they came to Bethlehem, all of the town was stirred because of them. And they said, "Is this Naomi?"

⁴ And Samuel did what the LORD said, and came to Bethlehem. And the elders of the city trembled to meet him, and said, Do you come in peace?

³ When King Herod heard this, he was disturbed, and all Jerusalem with him.

²¹ But the scribes and the Pharisees began to argue, saying, "Who is this fellow who speaks blasphemy? Who can forgive sins but God alone?"

⁴⁹ The other guests began to say to themselves, "Who is this that even forgives sins?"

⁹ And Herod said, I beheaded John: but who is this of whom I hear such things? And he desired to see him.

² Tell us by what authority thou dost these things? or who it is that gave thee this authority?

¹⁸ Then the Jews asked him, "What sign can you show us as authority for doing these things?"

¹⁶ His disciples did not understand this at first; but when Jesus was glorified, then they remembered that these things had been written about him and that they had done these things to him. ¹⁷ So the crowd that had been with Him when He called Lazarus out of the tomb and raised him from the dead continued to testify. ¹⁸ It was the rumor that he had wrought this miracle, which made the people crowd to meet him. ¹⁹ Then the Pharisees said to one another, “You can see that this is doing you no good. Look how the whole world has gone after Him!”
