³⁵ And they told what had happened on the road, and how he was recognized by them in the breaking of bread.

¹² After this, Jesus appeared in a different form to two of them as they walked along in the country. ¹³ And they went back and reported it to the rest, but they did not believe them either.

³⁰ When he was at the table with them, he took bread, blessed and broke it, and gave it to them. ³¹ Then their eyes were opened and they recognized him; but he disappeared from their sight.

⁴² They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.
