¹⁶ This man will dwell on the heights. His refuge will be the mountain fortress. His bread will be supplied, and he will have water.

¹ LORD, who shall dwell in your sanctuary? Who shall live on your holy hill?

³³ He makes my feet like the feet of female-deers and sets me upon my high places.

¹⁸ Behold, the eye of the LORD is on those who fear him, on those who hope for his loyal love

¹⁰ Young lions lack and go hungry, but those who seek the LORD will never lack any good thing.

³ Trust in the LORD, and do good. Dwell in the land, and enjoy safe pasture.

¹ A Prayer by Moses, the man of God. Lord, you have been our dwelling place for all generations.

¹ He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. ² I will say of the LORD, "He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust." ³ Surely He will deliver you from the fowler's trap and from the destroying plague. ⁴ He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings you will take refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart. ⁵ You shall not fear the terror of night, of the arrow that flies by day; ⁶ for the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor for the destruction that wastes at noonday. ⁷ A thousand may fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand; but it will not come near you. ⁸ You will only look with your eyes, and see the punishment of the wicked. ⁹ For thou, O the LORD, my trust; thou didst set the Most High thy refuge. ¹⁰ No harm will befall you, and no plague will come near your tent.

¹⁴ Because he loves me, therefore I will deliver him; I will protect him because he knows my name.

⁴¹ Yet he lifts the needy out of their affliction, and increases their families like a flock.

⁵ He gives food to those who fear him; he remembers his covenant forever.

³³ But whoever listens to me will dwell securely, and will be at ease, without fear of harm."

¹⁰ The name of the LORD is a strong tower; the righteous run into it and are safe.

⁴ For you have been a refuge to the poor, a refuge to the needy in his distress, a shelter from the rainstorm, a shade from the heat. For the breath of the ruthless was like a rainstorm against a wall,

¹ In that day, this song will be sung in the land of Judah: "We have a strong city. He appoints salvation for walls and ramparts. ² Open the gates, that the righteous nation may enter: the one which keeps faith. ³ You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on you: because he trusts in you. ⁴ "Trust in the LORD forever, for Jah, the LORD, is the Rock eternal. ⁵ "He humbles those who dwell on high, he lays the lofty (inaccessible) city low; he levels it to the ground and casts it down to the dust.

¹⁸ My people will live in a peaceful place, in safe homes and quiet places of rest.

¹⁰ They shall not hunger nor shall they thirst, nor shall the burning wind nor the sun smite them; but he who hath compassion on them will comfort them and lead them to bursting springs of water.

¹⁹ The LORD, the Lord, is my strength. He makes my feet like deer's feet, and enables me to go in high places. For the music director, on my stringed instruments.

²⁹ And do not be concerned about what you will eat or drink. Do not worry about it. ³⁰ For the nations of the world strive after all these things, and your Father knows that you need them. ³¹ But seek his kingdom, and these things will be given to you as well.
