After that they sat down to a feast, which turned into an orgy. 7 the LORD said to Moses: "Go down there. Your people whom you brought out of Egypt have corrupted themselves. 8 They have turned aside quickly from the way that I commanded them; they have made for themselves a cast-image bull calf, and they bowed to it, and they sacrificed to it, and they said, 'These are your gods, Israel, who brought you up from the land of Egypt.'"

Numbers 15:39

39 You will have a tassel for you to look at and remember all the commands of the LORD and do them, and not follow after the unfaithfulness of your own heart and eyes,
