³⁰ Therefore the LORD the God of Israel says, 'I said indeed that your house, and the house of your father, should walk before Me forever'. But now the LORD says, 'Far be it from Me. Those who honour Me I will honour, and those who despise Me shall be despised.

⁴³ They shall be on Aaron and his sons when they enter the Tent of Meeting or when they approach the altar to minister in the Holy Place so they don't incur guilt and die. This shall be a perpetual ordinance for him and his descendants after him."

⁹ And you will gird Aaron and his sons with sashes and wrap headdresses on them. And priesthood will be theirs as a lasting rule, and you will ordain Aaron and his sons.

⁹ At another moment I may speak about a nation or kingdom to build it or plant it. ¹⁰ But if it does evil in my sight, to not listen to my voice, then I will relent concerning the good that I said I would do to it.

⁸ "But you priests turned aside from the way, and by your teaching you caused many to stumble. ²³ that all may honor the Son just as they honor the Father. He who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent him.

⁴⁴ How can you believe if you accept glory from one another, yet do not seek the glory that comes from the only God?

⁴⁹ "I am not possessed by a demon," replied Jesus. "On the contrary I honour my Father, and you dishonour me.

²⁶ If anyone serves Me, he must follow Me; and where I am, My servant will be as well. If anyone serves Me, the Father will honor him.

³¹ When he was gone, Jesus said: Now is the Son of Man glorified, and God is glorified in him. ³² If God is glorified in Him, God will also glorify the Son in Himself—and will glorify Him at once.

⁴ I am honoring you [while] on earth by completing the work you gave me to do. ⁵ And now, Father, glorify Me in Your presence with the glory I had with You before the world existed.

⁵ Therefore judge nothing before the proper time; wait until the Lord comes. He will bring to light what is hidden in darkness and will expose the motives of men’s hearts. At that time each will receive his praise from God.

⁷ so that your tested faith, much more precious than gold that perishes though tested by fire, may be found to your praise and glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed,
