Proverbs 4:1 Cross References - UKJV

¹ Hear, all of you children, the instruction of a father, and attend to know understanding.

¹¹ Come, all of you children, hearken unto me: I will teach you the fear of the LORD.

⁸ My son, hear the instruction of your father, and forsake not the law of your mother:

¹ My son, if you will receive my words, and hide my commandments with you; ² So that you incline your ear unto wisdom, and apply your heart to understanding; ³ Yea, if you cry after knowledge, and lift up your voice for understanding; ⁴ If you seek her as silver, and search for her as for hid treasures; ⁵ Then shall you understand the fear of the LORD, and find the knowledge of God.

¹ My son, attend unto my wisdom, and bow your ear to my understanding:

²⁰ My son, keep your father's commandment, and forsake not the law of your mother: ²¹ Bind them continually upon your heart, and tie them about your neck. ²² When you go, it shall lead you; when you sleep, it shall keep you; and when you awake, it shall talk with you. ²³ For the commandment is a lamp; and the law is light; and reproofs of instruction are the way of life:

⁴ Say unto wisdom, You are my sister; and call understanding your kinswoman:

³² Now therefore hearken unto me, O all of you children: for blessed are they that keep my ways. ³³ Hear instruction, and be wise, and refuse it not. ³⁴ Blessed is the man that hears me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at the posts of my doors. ³⁵ For whoso finds me finds life, and shall obtain favour of the LORD. ³⁶ But he that sins against me wrongs his own soul: all they that hate me love death.

²⁰ Hear counsel, and receive instruction, that you may be wise in your latter end.

¹⁷ Bow down your ear, and hear the words of the wise, and apply your heart unto my knowledge.

¹¹ As all of you know how we exhorted and comforted and charged every one of you, as a father does his children, ¹² That all of you would walk worthy of God, who has called you unto his kingdom and glory.

¹ Therefore we ought to give the more earn heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip.
