¹² His troops come together, and raise up their way against me, and camp round about my tabernacle.

¹¹ God has delivered me to the ungodly, and turned me over into the hands of the wicked.

¹³ His archers compass me round about, he cleaves my reins asunder, and does not spare; he pours out my gall upon the ground.

¹² Upon my right hand rise the youth; they push away my feet, and they raise up against me the ways of their destruction.

⁵ O Assyrian, the rod of mine anger, and the staff in their hand is mine indignation. ⁶ I will send him against an hypocritical nation, and against the people of my wrath will I give him a charge, to take the spoil, and to take the prey, and to tread them down like the mire of the streets.

²³ But I will put it into the hand of them that afflict you; which have said to your soul, Bow down, that we may go over: and you have laid your body as the ground, and as the street, to them that went over.
