And ye shall sowe youre seed in vayne, for youre enemyes shall eate it. ¹⁷ And I will set my face agenste you and ye shal fall before youre enemyes, and they that hate you shal raigne ouer you, ad ye shall flee whe no man foloweth you. ¹⁸ And yf ye will not yet for all this herken vnto me, than will I punish you seuen tymes more for youre synnes, ¹⁹ and will breake the pride off youre strength. For I will make the heaue ouer you as harde as yerne, and youre londe as hard as brasse. ²⁰ And so youre laboure shalbe spent in vayne. For youre londe shall not geue hir encrease, nether the trees of the londe shall geue their frutes. ²¹ And yf ye walke contrary vnto me and will not herken vnto me, I will bringe seuen tymes moo plages apon you acordinge to your synnnes. ²² I will sende in wylde beestes apon you, which shall robbe you of youre childern and destroye youre catell, and make you so fewe in numbre that youre hye wayes shall growe vnto a wildernesse. ²³ And yf ye will not be lerned yet for all this but shall walke contrarye vnto me, ²⁴ then will I also walke contrarye vnto you and will punish you yet seuen tymes for youre synnes. ²⁵ I will sende a swerde apon you, that shall avenge my testament with you. ⁴ Thou shalt make the no grauen ymage, nether any symilitude that is in heauen aboue, ether in the erth beneth, or in the water that ys beneth the erth. ⁵ Se that thou nether bowe thy sylf vnto them nether serue them: for I the Lorde thy God, am a gelouse God, and viset the synne of the fathers vppon the childern vnto the third and fourth generacion of the that hate me:

²³ Ye shal not make therfore with me goddes of syluer nor goddes of golde: in no wyse shall ye do it.

²⁴ se thou worshippe not their goddes nether serue them, nether do after the workes of them: but ouertrowe them and breake doune the places of them

¹⁷ they make thi sonnes goo a whoorynge after their goddes also.Thou shalt make the no goddes of metall

⁴ Ye shall not turne vnto ydolls nor make you goddes of metall: I am the Lorde youre God.

⁵² se that ye dryue out all the inhabiters of the londe before you and destroy their Ymaginacions and all their Ymages of Metall ad plucke downe all their alters bylt on hilles:

¹⁶ lest ye marre youre selues and make you grauen ymages after what soeuer likenesse it be: whether after the likenesse of ma or woma ¹⁷ or any mane beest that is on the erth or of any maner fetherred foule that fleth in the ayre, ¹⁸ or of any maner worme that crepeth on the erth or of any maner fysh that is in the water beneth the erth: ¹⁹ Ye and leste thou lyfte vpp thyne eyes vnto heuen, and when thou seyst the sonne and the mone and the starres and what soeuer is contayned in heauen, shuldest be disceaued and shuldest bow thi selfe vnto them ad serue the thinges which the Lorde thy God hath distributed vnto all nacions that are vnder al quarters of heauen.

⁸ Thou shalt make the no grauen Image off any maner lykenesse that is in heauen aboue, or in the erth beneth, or in the water beneth the erth. ⁹ Thou shalt nether bowe thy self vnto them nor serue them, for I the Lorde thy God, am a gelouse God, visettinge the wikednesse of the fathers vppon the childern, euen in the thyrde and the fourth generacion, amonge them that hate me:

²¹ Thou shalt plante no groue of what soeuer trees it be, nye vnto the altare of the Lorde thi God which thou shalt make the. ²² Thou shalt sett the vpp no piler, which the Lorde thy God hateth.

¹⁵ Cursed be he that maketh any carued image or image of metall (an abhominacion vnto the Lorde, the worke of the handes of the craftesman) and putteth it in a secrett place: And all the people shall answere and saye Amen.

²⁹ For as moche then as we are the generacion of God we ought not to thynke that the godhed is lyke vnto golde silver or stone graven by crafte and ymaginacion of man.

²² Thou sayst a man shuld not commit advoutry: and thou breakest wedlocke. Thou abhorrest ymages and robbest God of his honoure. ²³ Thou reioysest in the lawe and thorow breakinge the lawe dishonourest God.

¹⁹ What saye I then? that the ymage is eny thinge? or that it which is offered to ymages is eny thinge? ²⁰ Nay but I saye that those thinges which the gentyle offer they offer to devyls and not to god. And I wolde not that ye shuld have fellishippe with ye devils

¹⁴ And deceaved them that dwelt on the erth by the meanes of those signes which he had power to doo in the sight of the beest sayinge to the that dwelt on the erth: that they shuld make an ymage vnto the beest which had the woude of a swearde and dyd lyve. ¹⁵ And he had power to geve a sprete vnto the ymage of the beest and that the ymage of the beest shuld speake and shuld cause that as many as wolde not worshyppe the ymage of the beest shuld be kylled.

¹⁵ For without shalbe dogges and inchauters and whormongers and mortherers and ydolaters and whosoever loveth or makith lesynges.

³⁰ Se that ye kepe my Sabbathes and feare my sauctuary: I am the Lorde.

⁴ but doo after my iudgemetes, and kepe myne ordynaunces, to walke therein: for I am the Lorde youre God. ⁵ Kepe therfore myne ordinaunces, ad my iudgemetes whiche yf a man doo he shall lyue thereby: for I am the Lorde.

¹² Yf ye shall herken vnto these lawes ad shall obserue and do them, then shall the Lorde thy God kepe poyntment with the and the mercy which he swore vnto thy fathers

¹³ Yf thou shalt herken therfore vnto my commaundementes which I commaunde you this daye, that ye loue the Lorde youre God and serue him with all youre hertes and with all youre soules: ¹⁴ then he will geue rayne vnto youre londe in due season, both the fyrst rayne and the later, and thou shalt gather in thy corne, thy wyne and thyne oyle. ¹⁵ And he will sende grasse in thy feldes for thy catell: and thou shalt eate and fyll thy selfe.

¹ Yf thou shalt herken diligently vnto the voyce of the Lorde thy God, to obserue and to do all his commaundmentes whiche I commaunde the this daye. The Lorde wil set the an hye aboue all nacions of the erth. ² And all these blessynges shall come on the and ouertake the, yf thou shalt herken vnto the voyce of the Lorde thy God. ³ Blessed shalt thou be in the towne and blessed in the feldes, ⁴ blessed shalbe the frute of thy body, the frute of thy grounde and the frute of thy catell, the frute of thine oxen, and thy flockes of shepe, ⁵ blessed shall thine almery be ad thy store. ⁶ Blessed shalt thou be, both when thou goest out, ad blessed whe thou comest in. ⁷ The Lorde shall smyte thyne enemyes that ryse agenst the before thy face. ⁷ that is to saye prayse honoure and immortalite to them which cotinue in good doynge and seke eternall lyfe. ⁸ But vnto them that are rebellious and disobey the trueth yet folowe iniquytie shall come indignacion and wrath ⁹ tribulacion and anguysshe vpon the soule of every man that doth evyll: of the Iewe fyrst and also of the gentyll. ¹⁰ To every man that doth good shall come prayse honoure and peace to ye Iewe fyrst and also to the gentyll.

¹⁴ Blessed are they that do hys commaundmentes that their power maye be in the tree of lyfe and maye entre in thorow the gates into the cite.

²¹ I wyll sende my blessynge apon you in the sixte yere,

⁷ Be pacient therfore brethren vnto the commynge of the lorde. Beholde the husbande man wayteth for the precious frute of the erth and hath longe pacience ther vppon vntill he receave (the erly and the latter rayne.)

¹⁷ Helias was a man mortall even as we are and he prayed in his prayer that it myght not rayne: and it rayned not on the erth by the space of thre yeares and sixe monethes. ¹⁸ And he prayed agayne and the heve gave rayne and the erth brought forth her frute.

³⁵ Saye not ye: there are yet foure monethes and then cometh harvest? ¹⁷ Charge them that are ryche in this worlde that they be not excedynge wyse and that they trust not in the vncertayne ryches but in the livynge god which geveth vs aboundantly all thynges to enioye them

⁵ which are kept by the power of God thorow fayth vnto salvacion which salvacion is prepared all redy to be shewed in the last tyme

²⁹ I will not cast them out in one yere, lest the lande growe to a wyldernesse: and the beestes of the felde multiplye apon the.

⁵ Se that thou nether bowe thy sylf vnto them nether serue them: for I the Lorde thy God, am a gelouse God, and viset the synne of the fathers vppon the childern vnto the third and fourth generacion of the that hate me:

⁷ ad kepest mercy in store for thousandes, ad forgeuest wikednesse, trespace ad synne (for there is no man ynnocet before the) and visetest the wikydnesse of the fathers vpo the childern ad apon childerns childern, euen vnto the thryd ad fourth generatio.

¹⁸ the Lorde is longe yet he be angrye ad full of mercy and suffereth synne and trespace and leaueth no man innocent and visiteth the vnryghtuousnesse of the fathers vppon ye childern eue vpo yt thirde and fourth generacion.

⁸ accordynge as it is written: God hath geven the the sprete of vnquyetnes: eyes that they shuld not se and eares that they shuld not heare even vnto this daye. ⁹ And David sayth: Let their table be made a snare to take them with all and an occasion to faule and a rewarde vnto them. ¹⁰ Let their eyes be blynded that they se not: and ever bowe doune their backes.

²⁷ And yf ye will not yet for all this harken vnto me, but shall walke contrarye vnto me, ²⁸ then I will walke contrary vnto you also wrathfully and will also chastice you seuen tymes for youre synnes:

²⁹ Neuer the later ye shall seke the Lorde youre God euen there, and shalt fynde him yf thou seke him with all thine herte and with all thy soule. ³⁰ In thi tribulacion and when all these thinges are come apon the, euen in the later dayes, thou shalt turne vnto the Lorde thy God, and shalt herken vnto his voyce. ³¹ For the Lorde thy God is a pitiefull God: he will not forsake the nether destroye the, nor forgett the appoyntmet made with thy fathers which he sware vnto them.

¹⁸ I will aryse and goo to my father and will saye vnto him: father I have synned agaynst heven and before ye ¹⁹ and am no moare worthy to be called thy sonne make me as one of thy hyred servauntes.

⁸ Yf we saye that we have no synne we deceave oure selves and trueth is not in vs. ⁹ Yf we knowledge oure synnes he is faythfull and iust to forgeve vs oure synnes and to clense vs from all vnrightewesnes. ¹⁰ Yf we saye we have not sinned we make him a lyar and his worde is not in vs.

³ Than Moses ad Aaron went in vnto Pharao and sayde vnto him: thus sayth the Lorde God of the Hebrues: how longe shall it be, or thou wilt submyt thy selfe vnto me? Let my people goo that they maye serue me.

⁶ And the Lorde thi God will circumcyse thine hert and the hert of thi seed for to loue the Lorde thi God with all thine hert and all thi soule, that thou mayst lyue.

¹² But whosoever exalteth himsilfe shalbe brought lowe. And he yt hubleth himsilfe shalbe exalted.

¹⁴ I tell you: this ma departed hoe to his housse iustified moore then the other. For every man that exalteth him selfe shalbe brought low: And he yt hubleth him selfe shalbe exalted

⁵¹ Ye stiffenecked and of vncircumcised hertes and eares: ye have all wayes resisted the holy goost: as youre fathers dyd so do ye.

²⁸ For he is not a Iewe which is a Iewe out warde. Nether is that thynge circumcision which is outwarde in the flesshe. ²⁹ But he is a Iewe which is hid wythin and the circucisio of ye herte is the true circumcision which is in the sprete and not in ye letter whose prayse is not of men but of god.

⁶ For in Iesu Christ nether is circumcision enythinge worth nether yet vncircocision but faith which by love is mighty in operacion.

³ For we are circucision which worshippe god in the sprete and reioyce in Christ Iesu and have no confidence in the flesshe:

¹¹ in whom also ye are circucised with circumcision made mith out hondes by puttinge of the sinfull boddy of the flesshe thorow the circumcision yt is in Christ

⁶ but geveth more grace. ⁷ Submit youre selves to god and resist the devyll and he will flye from you. ⁸ Drawe nye to god and he will drawe nye to you. Clense youre hondes ye synners and pourdge youre hertes ye waverynge mynded. ⁹ Suffre affliccios: sorowe ye and wepe. Let youre laughter be turned to mornynge and youre ioye to hevynes.

⁵ Lykwyse ye yonger submit youre selves vnto the elder. Submit youre selves every man one to another knet youre selves togedder in lowlines of mynde. For god resisteth ye proude and geveth grace to the humble. ⁶ Submit youre selves therfore vnder the myghty honde of god that he maye exalt you whe the tyme is come.

¹⁶ The bowe shalbe in the cloudes and I wyll loke vpon it to remembre the euerlastynge testament betwene God and all that lyveth vppon the erth what soeuer flesh it be.

³⁰ And I will destroye youre alters bylt apon hye hylles, and ouerthrowe youre images, and cast youre carkasses apon the bodies of youre ydolles, and my soule shall abhorre you.

³⁴ Then the lande shall reioyse in hir Sabbathes, as longe as it lyeth voyde and ye in youre enemies londe: euen then shall the londe kepe holye daye and reioyse in hir Sabbathes. ³⁵ And as longe as it lyeth voyde it shall rest, for that it coude not reste in youre Sabbathes, when ye dwelt therein.

⁴¹ Therfore I also will walke contrary vnto them, and will brynge them in to the londe of their enemyes. And then at the leest waye their vncircumcysed hertes shall be tamed, ad then they shall make an attonement for their misdedes.

What sonne is that whom the father chasteneth not? ⁸ If ye be not vnder correccio (where of all are part takers) then are ye bastardes and not sonnes. ⁹ Moreover seynge we had fathers of oure flesshe which corrected vs and we gave them reverence: shuld we not moche rather be in subieccion vnto the father of spretuall gyftes that we myght live? ¹⁰ And they verely for a feaue dayes nurtred vs after their awne pleasure: but he learneth vs vnto that which is proffitable that we myght receave of his holines. ¹¹ No manner chastisynge for the present tyme semeth to be ioyeous but greveous: neverthelesse afterwarde it bryngeth the quyet frute of rightewesnes vnto them which are therin exercysed.

¹⁸ And that same daye the LORde made a covenaunte with Abram saynge: vnto thy seed wyll I geue thys londe fro the ryver of Egypte even vnto the greate ryver euphrates:

⁷² To fulfill the mercy promised to oure fathers and to remember his holy covenaunt. ⁷³ And to performe the oothe which he sware to oure father Adraham

¹² Wherfore yf the faule of them be the ryches of the worlde: and the mynysshynge of them the ryches of the gentyls: How moche more shuld it be so yf they all beleved.

²³ and they yf they byde not still in vnbelefe shalbe graffed in agayne. For God is of power to graffe them in agayne. ²⁴ For yf thou wast cut out of a naturall wilde olyve tree and wast graffed contrary to nature in a true olyve tree: how moche more shall the naturall brauches be graffed in their awne olyve tree agayne. ²⁵ I wolde not that this secrete shuld be hyd fro you my brethren (lest ye shuld be wyse in youre awne consaytes) that partly blyndnes is happened in Israel vntyll ye fulnes of the gentyls be come in: ²⁶ and so all Israel shalbe saved. ²⁸ As cocernynge the gospell they are enemies for youre sakes: but as touchinge the election they are loved for ye fathers sakes. ²⁹ For verely the gyftes and callynge of god are soche that it cannot repent him of them:

¹⁵ But even vnto this daye when Moses is redde ye vayle hangeth before their hertes. ¹⁶ Neverthelesse when they tourne to ye Lorde the vayle shalbe taken awaye.

³⁸ which the Lorde commaunded Moses in the mount of Sinai, in the daye when he commaunded the childern of Israel to offer their offrynges vnto the Lorde in the wildernesse of Sinai.

³⁶ And Aaron and his sonnes dyd all thynges which the Lorde commaunded by the hande of Moses.

¹ And the Lorde spake vnto Moses in mount Sinai sayenge,

³⁴ These are the commaundmentes whiche the Lorde gaue Moses in charge to geue vnto the childern of Israel in mount Sinai.

³⁷ These are the numbres of the kynredes of the Cahathites of all that dyd seruyce in the tabernacle of witnesse whyche Moses and Aaron dyd numbre at the commaundment of the Lorde by the hade of Moses.

¹ These are the commaundmentes, ordinaunces and lawes which the Lorde youre God commaunded to teach you, that ye might doo them in the londe whother ye goo to possesse it:

¹ These are the ordinaunces and lawes which ye shall obserue to doo in the londe which the Lorde God of thy fathers geueth the to possesse it, as longe as ye lyue vppon the erth.

⁴ For ye must walke after the Lorde youre God ad feare him and kepe his comaudmentes and herken vnto his voyce and serue him and cleaue vnto him.

¹⁷ For the lawe was geven by Moses but grace and truthe came by Iesus Christ.
