How can he reconcile himself to his master? Will it not be with the heads of these men?

¹¹ So David arose early, he and his men, to go and guard the land of the Philistines, while the Philistines went up to battle at Jezrael.

² behold there came a man, on the third day, from the camp; from the people of Saul with his clothes rent, and earth on his head, and when he came to David he fell on the ground, and made obeisance to him.
