⁵ And you shall keep the charge of the sanctuary, and the charge of the altar: That there be no wrath any more on the children of Israel.

²¹ In the tabernacle of the congregation without the veil, which is before the testimony, Aaron and his sons shall order it from evening to morning before the LORD: It shall be a statute forever to their generations on behalf of the children of Israel.

⁷ And Aaron shall burn sweet incense on it every morning: When he dresses the lamps, he shall burn incense upon it.sweet incense: In Hebrew, incense of spices ⁸ And when Aaron lights the lamps at sunset, he shall burn incense upon it, a perpetual incense before the LORD throughout your generations. ⁹ You shall offer no strange incense on it, nor burnt sacrifice, nor food offering; neither shall you pour drink offering on it. ¹⁰ And Aaron shall make an atonement upon the horns of it once in a year with the blood of the sin offering of atonements: Once in the year he shall make atonement upon it throughout your generations: It is most holy to the LORD."

⁶ And Moses said to Aaron, and to Eleazar and to Ithamar, his sons, Uncover not your heads, neither rend your clothes; lest you die, and lest wrath come on all the people: But let your brothers, the whole house of Israel, mourn the burning which the LORD has kindled.

³ Without the veil of the testimony, in the tabernacle of the congregation, shall Aaron order it from the evening to the morning before the LORD continually: It shall be a statute forever in your generations.

⁴⁶ And Moses said to Aaron, "Take a censer, and put fire in it from off the altar, and put on incense, and go quickly to the congregation, and make an atonement for them: For there is wrath gone out from the LORD; the plague is begun.

¹⁹ And Shallum the son of Kore, the son of Ebiasaph, the son of Korah, and his brothers, of the house of his father, the Korahites, were over the work of the service, keepers of the gates of the tabernacle: And their fathers, being over the host of the LORD, were keepers of the entry.

²³ So they and their children had the oversight of the gates of the house of the LORD, namely, the house of the tabernacle, by wards.

³³ And these are the singers, chief of the fathers of the Levites, who remaining in the chambers were free: For they were employed in that work day and night.

⁵ Thus were they divided by lot, one sort with another; for the governors of the sanctuary, and governors of the house of God, were of the sons of Eleazar, and of the sons of Ithamar.

¹⁵ Therefore thus says the LORD of hosts concerning the prophets; 'Behold, I will feed them with wormwood, and make them drink the water of gall: For from the prophets of Jerusalem has profaneness gone forth into all the land.' "

³ "My anger was kindled against the shepherds, and I punished the goats: For the LORD of hosts has visited His flock, the house of Judah, and has made them as His goodly horse in the battle.

¹⁸ This charge I commit to you, son Timothy, according to the prophecies previously spoken over you, that by them you might wage a good warfare;

¹⁵ But if I tarry long, I write that you may know how you yourselves ought to behave in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth.

²¹ I charge you before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, and the elect angels, that you observe these things without preferring one before another, doing nothing by partiality.

²⁰ O Timothy, keep that which is committed to your trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science (falsely so called):
