¹⁶ For God makes my heart soft, and the Almighty troubles me:

³ and shall say to them, Hear, O Israel, you approach this day to battle against your enemies: Let not your hearts faint, fear not, and do not tremble, neither be you terrified because of them;

²⁰ And she said to them, "Do not call me Naomi, call me Mara: For the Almighty has dealt very bitterly with me.

² as God lives, who has taken away my judgment; and the Almighty, who has vexed my soul;

¹⁴ I am poured out like water, and all My bones are out of joint: My heart is like wax; it is melted in the midst of My bowels.

¹⁶ Your fierce wrath goes over me; Your terrors have cut me off.

⁵ Then I said, "Woe is me! For I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips: For my eyes have seen the King, the LORD of hosts."

¹⁶ For I will not contend forever, neither will I always be wroth: For the spirit would fail before Me, and the souls which I have made.

⁴⁶ And lest your heart faint, and you fear for the rumor that shall be heard in the land; a rumor shall both come one year, and after that in another year shall come a rumor, and violence in the land, ruler against ruler.

¹⁵ alas for the day! For the day of the LORD is at hand, and as a destruction from the Almighty it shall come.
