² And now I will show you the truth. Behold, there shall yet stand up three kings in Persia; and the fourth shall be far richer than all of them: And by his strength through his riches he shall stir up all against the realm of Greece.

⁵ and hired counsellors against them, to frustrate their purpose, all the days of Cyrus king of Persia, even until the reign of Darius king of Persia. ⁶ And in the reign of Ahasuerus, in the beginning of his reign, wrote they to him an accusation against the inhabitants of Judah and Jerusalem.

⁶ Therefore pride compasses them about as a chain; violence covers them as a garment. ⁷ Their eyes stand out with fatness: They have more than heart could wish.

²¹ that I might make you know the certainty of the words of truth; that you might answer the words of truth to those that send to you?

⁵ And behold another beast, a second, like a bear, and it raised up itself on one side, and it had three ribs in its mouth between its teeth: And they said thus to it, 'Arise, devour much flesh.'

⁴ I saw the ram pushing westward, and northward, and southward; so that no beasts might stand before him, neither was there any that could deliver out of his hand; but he did according to his will, and became great.

²⁶ And the vision of the evening and the morning which was told is true: After this, shut up the vision; for it shall be for many days."

¹ In the third year of Cyrus king of Persia something was revealed to Daniel, whose name was called Belteshazzar; and the thing was true, but the time appointed was long: And he understood the thing, and had understanding of the vision.

²⁰ Then he said, "Do you know why I come to you? And now I will return to fight with the prince of Persia: And when I have gone forth, lo, the prince of Greece shall come. ²¹ But I will show you that which is noted in the Scripture of Truth: And there is none that holds fast with me in these things, except Michael your prince."

²⁵ And he shall stir up his power and his courage against the king of the south with a great army; and the king of the south shall be stirred up to battle with a very great and mighty army; but he shall not stand: For they shall forecast devices against him.

⁷ Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets.

³⁵ If He called them gods, to whom the Word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken;

³⁷ Pilate therefore said to Him, "Are You a king then?" Jesus answered, "You say that I am a king. For this purpose I was born, and for this cause I came into the world, that I should bear witness to the truth. Everyone that is of the truth hears My voice." ³⁸ Pilate said to Him, "What is truth?" And when he had said this, he went out again to the Jews, and said to them, "I find no fault in Him at all.

⁵ And He that sat upon the throne said, "Behold, I make all things new." And He said to me, "Write: For these words are true and faithful."
