¹¹ So that you may understand, that it has been only twelve days since I went up to Jerusalem to worship.

¹⁸ And the following day Paul went in with us to James; and all the elders were present.

²⁶ Then Paul took the men, and the next day purifying himself with them, entered into the temple to signify the completion of the days of purification, at which time an offering should be offered for every one of them. ²⁷ Now when the seven days were almost ended, the Jews from Asia, when they saw him in the temple, stirred up all the people, and laid hands on him,

²³ And he called two centurions to himself, saying, "Prepare two hundred soldiers, seventy horsemen, and two hundred spearmen to go to Caesarea at the third hour of the night;

³² On the next day, they left the horsemen to go on with him, and returned to the castle: ³³ When they came to Caesarea, and delivered the letter to the governor, they also presented Paul before him.

¹ Now after five days Ananias the high priest came down with the elders, and with a certain orator named Tertullus, who informed the governor against Paul.
