¹ Dare any of you, having, a matter against his brother, sue for judgment before the unrighteous, and not before the saints?

¹⁵ But, if thy brother sin, withdraw, convince him, betwixt thee and him, alone,––If unto thee he hearken, thou hast gained thy brother; ¹⁶ But, if he do not hearken, take with thee, yet one or two, that, at the mouth of two witnesses or three, every declaration, maybe established; ¹⁷ But, if he hear them amiss, tell it to the assembly,––And, if, even the assembly, he hear amiss, Let him be unto thee, just as the man of the nations and the tax–collector.

¹⁴ But, as Paul was about to open his mouth, Gallio said unto the Jews––If, indeed, it had been some wrong or wicked recklessness, O Jews, with reason, in that case, should I have been bearing with you. ¹⁵ If, however, they are questions concerning discourse, and names, and law, that which ye have, ye shall see to it, yourselves; A judge of these things, I, am not disposed to be.

³⁸ If then, Demetrius, and the craftsmen with him, have against anyone an accusation, courts, are being held, and there are, proconsuls: let them accuse one another!

² Unto the assembly of God which is in Corinth, sanctified in Christ Jesus, called saints,––with all who call upon the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, in every place,––their Lord and ours:

⁶ But, brother with brother, sueth for judgment, and that before unbelievers? ⁷ Already, indeed, it is an utter defeat for you, that ye are having, law–suits, one with another. Wherefore are ye not rather taking wrong? Wherefore are ye not rather suffering yourselves to be defrauded?

³³ For God is not [a God] of confusion, but, of peace:––as in all the assemblies of the saints.

¹ Now, concerning the collection which is for the saints, just as I directed the assemblies of Galatia, so, also do, ye:––

¹⁵ Now I beseech you, brethren,––ye know the house of Stephanas, that it is a firstfruit of Achaia, and, for the purpose of ministering, they devoted themselves, unto the saints––
