⁷ If we live in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin.

¹ MY children, I am writing this to you in order that you may not sin. Even if any one sins, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ, who is righteous. ² And he is an atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not for ours only but for those of the whole world.

⁵ You know that Christ appeared to take away sins and in him there is no sin.

⁵ and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the first-born of the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth. To him who loves us and freed us from our sins by his blood, ⁶ and made us a kingdom, priests to God his Father, to him be glory and power for the ages of the ages! Amen.
