⁴⁶ Blessed that servant, whom his lord, having come, shall find doing so;

³⁴ 'Then shall the king say to those on his right hand, Come you, the blessed of my Father, inherit the reign that has been prepared for you from the foundation of the world;

³⁷ 'Happy those servants, whom the lord, having come, shall find watching; verily I say to you, that he will gird himself, and will cause them to recline (at meat), and having come near, will minister to them;

⁴³ Happy that servant, whom his lord, having come, shall find doing so;

²¹ for to me to live is Christ, and to die gain. ²² And if to live in the flesh is to me a fruit of work, then what shall I choose? I know not; ²³ for I am pressed by the two, having the desire to depart, and to be with Christ, for it is far better,

⁶ for I am already being poured out, and the time of my release has arrived; ⁷ the good strife I have striven, the course I have finished, the faith I have kept, ⁸ henceforth there is laid up for me the crown of the righteousness that the Lord -- the Righteous Judge -- shall give to me in that day, and not only to me, but also to all those loving his manifestation.

¹³ and I think right, so long as I am in this tabernacle, to stir you up in reminding you, ¹⁴ having known that soon is the laying aside of my tabernacle, even as also our Lord Jesus Christ did show to me, ¹⁵ and I will be diligent that also at every time you have, after my outgoing, power to make to yourselves the remembrance of these things.

¹⁹ I have known your works, and love, and ministration, and faith, and your endurance, and your works -- and the last are more than the first.
