⁴⁵ 'Who, then, is the servant, faithful and wise, whom his lord did set over his household, to give them the nourishment in season?

²⁴ 'Therefore, every one who does hear of me these words, and does do them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house upon the rock;

¹⁶ 'Lo, I do send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves, be you therefore wise as the serpents, and simple as the doves.

¹⁰ 'He who is faithful in the least, is also faithful in much; and he who in the least is unrighteous, is also unrighteous in much; ¹¹ if, then, in the unrighteous mammon ye became not faithful -- the true who will entrust to you? ¹² and if in the other's you became not faithful -- your own, who shall give to you?

¹⁷ and he said to him, Well done, good servant, because in a very little you did become faithful, be having authority over ten cities.

¹ Let a man so reckon us as officers of Christ, and stewards of the secrets of God, ² and as to the rest, it is required in the stewards that one may be found faithful,

¹² And I give thanks to him who enabled me -- Christ Jesus our Lord -- that he did reckon me stedfast, having put me to the ministration,

² and the things that you heard from me through many witnesses, these things be committing\'7bentrusting\'7d to stedfast\'7breliable, faithful, trustworthy, dependable\'7d men, who will be sufficient also others to teach;

⁵ and Moses indeed was stedfast in all his house, as an attendant, for a testimony of those things that were to be spoken,

¹⁰ each, according as he received a gift, to one another ministering it, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God; ¹¹ if any one does speak -- 'as oracles of God;' if any one does minister -- 'as of the ability which God does supply;' that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom is the glory and the power -- to the ages of the ages. Amen.

¹ Elders who are among you, I exhort, who am a fellow-elder, and a witness of the sufferings of the Christ, and of the glory about to be revealed a partaker, ² feed the flock of God that is among you, overseeing not constrainedly, but willingly, neither for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind, ³ neither as exercising lordship over the heritages, but patterns becoming of the flock,

¹³ I have known your works, and where you do dwell -- where the throne of the Adversary is -- and you do hold fast my name, and you did not deny my faith, even in the days in which Antipas was my faithful witness, who was put to death beside you, where the Adversary does dwell.
