¹⁸ Therefore, as the offence of one brought judgment upon all men, resulting in condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one came justification that brings life for all men.

⁷ He came as a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe.

²⁶ And they came to John, and said to him, Rabbi, he who was with you beyond the Jordan, to whom you bore witness, behold, he is baptizing, and all men are going to him.

³² And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men to myself.

³⁹ And by him all who believe are justified from all the things from which you could not be justified by the law of Moses.

¹⁹ Now we know that whatever the law says, it says to those who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may be held accountable to God. ²⁰ Therefore, by the works of the law no flesh shall be justified in his sight: for through the law comes the knowledge of sin. ²¹ But now the righteousness of God apart from the law has been manifested, though it is witnessed to by the law and the prophets; ²² This is the righteousness of God which is by faith in Jesus Christ for all who believe: for there is no difference:

²⁵ He was delivered to death for our offences, and was raised again for our justification.

¹² Therefore, since through one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; so death spread to all men, for all have sinned:

¹⁵ But the free gift is not like the offence. For if through the offence of the one many died, how much more did the grace of God, and the gift that came by the grace of the one man, Jesus Christ, overflow to many.

¹⁹ For just as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.

²² For just as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.

⁴ Who desires all men to be saved, and to come to the knowledge of the truth. ⁵ For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; ⁶ Who gave himself as a ransom for all, the testimony at the proper time.

⁹ But we see Jesus, who was made for a little while lower than the angels, crowned with glory and honour because he suffered death; that he, by the grace of God, should taste death for every man.

¹ Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to those who, through the righteousness of our God and Saviour Jesus Christ, have obtained the same precious faith as ours:

²⁰ But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and you all know the truth.
