¹ And I saw in the right hand of him who sat on the throne a scroll, with writing inside and on the back, sealed with seven seals.

³ And he who sat there appeared like jasper and carnelian: and there was a rainbow around the throne, like an emerald in appearance.

⁷ And he came and took the scroll out of the right hand of him who sat upon the throne.

¹³ And I heard every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and on the sea, and all that is in them, saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be to him who sits upon the throne, and to the Lamb forever and ever.

¹ Then I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard one of the four living creatures saying, as with a voice of thunder, Come.

² And he had open in his hand a little scroll: and he set his right foot upon the sea, and his left foot upon the earth,

⁸ And the voice which I heard from heaven spoke to me again, and said, Go and take the little scroll which is open in the hand of the angel who stands upon the sea and upon the earth. ⁹ And I went to the angel, and said to him, Give me the little scroll. And he said to me, Take, and eat it; it shall make your stomach bitter, but in your mouth it shall be sweet as honey. ¹⁰ And I took the little scroll out of the angel's hand, and ate it; and in my mouth it was sweet as honey: but as soon as I had eaten it, my stomach was made bitter. ¹¹ And he said to me, You must prophesy again about many peoples, and nations, and tongues, and kings.
