³² But if we shall say, From men; they feared the people: for all held that John was indeed a prophet.

⁵ Then Jerusalem, and all Judaea, went out to him, and all the region around the Jordan, ⁶ And were baptized by him in the Jordan, confessing their sins.

⁹ But what did you go out to see? A prophet? yes, I say to you, and more than a prophet.
