³ And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you to myself; that where I am, there you may be also.

³² And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats: ³³ And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, and the goats on the left. ³⁴ Then shall the King say to those on his right hand, Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:

²⁶ If any man serves me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall my servant be also: if any man serves me, the Father will honour him.

¹⁸ I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you. ¹⁹ Yet a little while, and the world will see me no more; but you shall see me: because I live, you also shall live. ²⁰ On that day you shall know that I am in my Father, and you in me, and I in you. ²¹ He who has my commandments, and keeps them, he it is who loves me: and he who loves me shall be loved by my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him. ²² Judas, not Iscariot, said to him, Lord, how is it that you will manifest yourself to us, and not to the world? ²³ Jesus answered and said to him, If a man loves me, he will keep my word: and my Father will love him, and we will come to him, and make our abode with him.

²⁸ You have heard how I said to you, I go away, and come again to you. If you loved me, you would rejoice, because I said, I go to the Father: for my Father is greater than I.

²⁴ Father, I desire that they also, whom you have given me, may be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which you have given me: for you loved me before the foundation of the world.

¹¹ Who said, You men of Galilee, why do you stand gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, who has been taken up from you into heaven, shall come in the same way that you have seen him go into heaven.

⁵⁹ And as they stoned Stephen he called upon God, saying, Lord Jesus, receive my spirit. ⁶⁰ And he knelt down, and cried with a loud voice, Lord, do not hold this sin against them. And when he had said this, he fell asleep.

¹⁷ And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if indeed we suffer with him that we may also be glorified with him.

⁶ Therefore, we are always confident, knowing that while we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord: ⁷ (For we walk by faith, not by sight:) ⁸ We are confident, and would rather be absent from the body, and present with the Lord.

²³ For I am hard-pressed between the two, having a desire to depart, and to be with Christ; which is far better:

¹⁶ For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: ¹⁷ Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

¹² That the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you, and you in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.

¹² If we endure, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he will deny us:

²⁸ So Christ, having been offered once to bear the sins of many; shall appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring full salvation to those who eagerly await him.

² Beloved, now we are the sons of God; and what we shall be has not yet been disclosed: but we know that when he shall appear, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is. ³ And every man who has this hope in him purifies himself, just as he is pure.

²¹ To him who overcomes I will grant the right to sit with me on my throne, just as I overcame, and sat down with my Father on his throne.

²² And I saw no temple in it: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its temple. ²³ And the city had no need of the sun, or the moon, to shine upon it: for the glory of God is its light, and the Lamb its lamp.

³ And there shall no longer be any curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him: ⁴ And they shall see his face; and his name shall be upon their foreheads. ⁵ And there shall be no night there; and they shall need no lamp, nor light from the sun; for the Lord God shall give them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever.
