²⁶ Jesus answered, It is he to whom I shall give this morsel, when I have dipped it. And when he had dipped the morsel, he gave it to Judas Iscariot, the son of Simon.

²³ And he answered and said, He who dipped his hand with me in the dish shall betray me.

¹⁹ And they began to be sorrowful, and to say to him one by one, Is it I? ²⁰ And he answered them, It is one of the twelve, one who dips with me in the bowl.

²¹ But, behold, the hand of him who betrays me is with me on the table.

⁷⁰ Jesus answered them, Have not I chosen you twelve, and one of you is a devil? ⁷¹ He spoke of Judas Iscariot the son of Simon: for it was he, one of the twelve, who would betray him.

⁴ Then one of his disciples, Judas Iscariot, who would later betray him, said, ⁵ Why was this ointment not sold for three hundred denarii, and given to the poor? ⁶ He said this, not because he cared for the poor; but because he was a thief, and had the money box, and stole what was put in it.

³⁰ Having received the morsel he went out immediately: and it was night.
