³ How shall we escape, if we neglect so great a salvation? It was at first announced by the Lord, and was confirmed to us by those who heard him;

¹⁷ From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.

³³ You serpents, you generation of vipers, how can you escape being condemned to hell?

¹⁴ Now after John was put in prison, Jesus came to Galilee, preaching the gospel of God,

¹⁵ And he said to them, Go into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. ¹⁶ He who believes and is baptized shall be saved; but he who does not believe shall be condemned. ¹⁷ And these signs shall follow those who believe; In my name they shall cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; ¹⁸ They shall pick up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. ¹⁹ So after the Lord had spoken to them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God. ²⁰ And they went forth, and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with accompanying signs.]

² Just as they have been delivered to us, by those who from the beginning were eyewitnesses, and ministers of the word;

⁶⁹ And has raised up a horn of salvation for us in the house of his servant David;

¹⁹ And he said to them, What things? And they said to him, Concerning Jesus of Nazareth, who was a prophet mighty in deed and word before God and all the people:

⁴⁷ And that repentance for forgiveness of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. ⁴⁸ You are witnesses of these things.

¹⁶ For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life. ¹⁷ For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world might be saved through him. ¹⁸ He who believes in him is not condemned: but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

²⁷ And you also shall bear witness, because you have been with me from the beginning.

²² Beginning with the baptism of John until the day that he was taken up from us, one of these must be ordained to be a witness with us of his resurrection.

²² You men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man attested to you by God with miracles and wonders and signs, which God performed by him in your midst, as you yourselves know:

¹² And there is salvation in no one else: for there is no other name under heaven given among men, by which we must be saved.

⁴⁰ But God raised him up on the third day, and showed him openly; ⁴¹ Not to all the people, but to witnesses chosen beforehand by God, that is, to us, who ate and drank with him after he rose from the dead. ⁴² And he commanded us to preach to the people, and to testify that it is he who was ordained by God to be the Judge of the living and dead.

³ And do you think, O man, that when you pass judgement on those who do such things, yet do the same yourself, that you shall escape the judgment of God?

³ For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction shall come upon them, as birth pangs upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.

¹⁵ This is a trustworthy saying, and worthy of full acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am the foremost.

¹¹ For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men,

² Has in these last days spoken to us by his Son, whom he has appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds.

¹ Therefore, let us fear, lest while a promise of entering into his rest remains, any of you should seem to fall short of it.

¹¹ Therefore, let us labour to enter that rest, lest any man fall by following their example of disobedience.

⁹ And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation for all those who obey him;

²⁵ Therefore, he is also able to completely save those who come to God through him, for he ever lives to make intercession for them. ²⁶ For it was fitting for us to have such a high priest, holy, blameless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and exalted above the heavens;

²⁸ He who despised Moses' law died without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses: ²⁹ How much more severe punishment do you suppose he shall deserve, who has trodden under foot the Son of God, and has counted the blood of the covenant, with which he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and has affronted the Spirit of grace?

²⁵ See that you do not refuse him who speaks. For if they did not escape who refused him who warned them on earth, much less shall we escape, if we turn away from him who warns us from heaven.

¹⁷ For the time has come for judgment, which must begin with the household of God: and if it begins with us, what shall the end be for those who do not obey the gospel of God? ¹⁸ And if it is with difficulty that the righteous are saved, what shall become of the ungodly and the sinner?

¹⁶ And they called to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him who sits on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: ¹⁷ For the great day of his wrath has come; and who shall be able to stand?

¹⁰ And cried out with a loud voice, saying, Salvation belongs to our God who sits upon the throne, and to the Lamb.
