⁷ And to give rest to you who are afflicted, along with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels in flaming fire,

¹⁰ Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. ¹¹ Blessed are you, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. ¹² Rejoice, and be exceedingly glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you.

³⁹ The enemy who sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels. ⁴⁰ Therefore, as the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be at the end of this age. ⁴¹ The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and those who do iniquity; ⁴² And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: where there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. ⁴³ Then the righteous shall shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears, let him hear.

²⁷ For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works.

³¹ When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:

⁶⁴ Jesus said to him, You have said so: nevertheless I say to you, Hereafter you shall see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven.

³⁸ Therefore, whoever shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he comes in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.

⁶² And Jesus said, I am: and you shall see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven.

²⁵ But Abraham said, Son, remember that in your lifetime you received your good things, and Lazarus received evil things: but now he is comforted, and you are tormented.

³⁰ Even so shall it be on the day when the Son of man is revealed.

³ All things were made by him; and without him was nothing made that was made.

⁵¹ And he said to him, Truly, truly, I say to you, You shall see heaven opened, and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of man.

¹¹ Who said, You men of Galilee, why do you stand gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, who has been taken up from you into heaven, shall come in the same way that you have seen him go into heaven.

¹⁷ And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if indeed we suffer with him that we may also be glorified with him.

¹⁷ For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, prepares for us an incomparable and eternal weight of glory;

² Grace to you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.

¹⁶ For by him were all things created that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones, or dominions, or rulers, or authorities: all things were created by him, and for him:

¹⁶ For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: ¹⁷ Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

¹² If we endure, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he will deny us: ¹³ Looking for the blessed hope, the glorious appearing of our great God and Saviour Jesus Christ;

¹ Therefore, let us fear, lest while a promise of entering into his rest remains, any of you should seem to fall short of it.

⁹ Therefore, there remains a sabbath rest for the people of God.

¹¹ Therefore, let us labour to enter that rest, lest any man fall by following their example of disobedience.

²⁸ So Christ, having been offered once to bear the sins of many; shall appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring full salvation to those who eagerly await him.

²² Who has gone into heaven, and is on the right hand of God; with angels and authorities and powers made subject to him.

¹⁴ And Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord comes with myriads of his holy ones, ¹⁵ To execute judgment upon all, and to convict all who are ungodly of all their ungodly deeds which they have committed in an ungodly way, and of all the harsh words which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.

⁷ Behold, he comes with the clouds; and every eye shall see him, even those who pierced him: and all families of the earth shall mourn because of him. Even so, Amen.

¹⁴ And I said to him, Sir, you know. And he said to me, These are the ones who have come out of the great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. ¹⁵ Therefore, they are before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple: and he who sits on the throne shall spread his tabernacle over them. ¹⁶ They shall hunger no more, nor shall they thirst any more; nor shall the sun beat upon them, nor shall any scorching heat. ¹⁷ For the Lamb who is at the center of the throne shall be their shepherd, and shall lead them to the springs of the waters of life: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.

¹³ And I heard a voice from heaven saying to me, Write, Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord henceforth: Yes, says the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; for their works follow them.

¹¹ And I saw a great white throne, and him who sat upon it, from whose face earth and heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.

⁴ And he shall wipe away every tear from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, or sorrow, or crying, or pain: for the former things have passed away.

⁶ And he said to me, These words are faithful and true: and the Lord, the God of the spirits of the prophets, has sent his angel to show to his servants the things which must shortly come to pass.

⁹ Then he said to me, Do not do that: I am a fellow servant with you and your brethren the prophets, and with those who keep the words of this book: worship God.

¹⁶ I, Jesus, have sent my angel to you to testify of these things for the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, the bright morning star.
