²⁰ We intend that that no man should blame us about this abundant gift which we are administering:

¹⁶ Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: therefore be as wise as serpents, and as harmless as doves.

¹⁶ Therefore, do not let your good be spoken of as evil:

³ And when I come, whomever you shall approve I will send with letters, to take your gift to Jerusalem.

¹² But what I do, that I will continue to do, that I may undermine the claim of those who desire opportunity to be regarded as our equals in that of which they boast.

¹⁵ See then that you walk carefully, not as fools, but as wise men,
