¹² And I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne, and books were opened; and another book was opened, which is the book of life; and the dead were judged out of the things written in the books, according to their works.

²⁷ For the Son of man is to come in the glory of his Father, with his angels; and then will he render to every one according to his works.

²⁰ Yet rejoice not in this, that the spirits are subject to you; but rejoice that your names have been written in heaven.

²⁸ Marvel not at this; for the hour is coming, in which all that are in the tombs will hear his voice, ²⁹ and will come forth, they that have done good, to a resurrection of life; they that have done evil, to a resurrection of condemnation.

²⁵ Jesus said to her, I am the resurrection and the life: he that believeth in me, though he have died, will live; ²⁶ and whoever liveth and believeth in me will never die. Believest thou this?

¹⁵ having a hope in God, which they themselves also entertain, that there will be a resurrection both of the righteous and the unrighteous.

⁶ who will render to every one according to his works;

¹⁰ But thou, why dost thou judge thy brother? And thou, too, why dost thou despise thy brother? For we shall all stand before the judgmentseat of God. ¹¹ For it is written, "As I live, saith the Lord, to me every knee shall bow, and every tongue shall give praise to God." ¹² So then every one of us will give account of himself to God.

⁵ So then judge nothing before the time, until the Lord come, who will both bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and make manifest the purposes of mens hearts; and then shall every one have his praise from God.

²¹ For since through man came death, through man came also the resurrection of the dead. ²² For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ will all be made alive. ²³ But every one in his own order; Christ the firstfruits, afterward they that are Christs, at his coming.

¹⁰ For we must all be made manifest before the judgmentseat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in his body, according to what he did, whether good or bad.

³ yea, I entreat thee also, true yokefellow, give them aid; since they labored with me in the gospel, with Clement also, and the rest of my fellowlaborers, whose names are in the book of life.

¹⁵ For this we say to you in the word of the Lord, that we who are living, we who are left till the coming of the Lord, shall not anticipate those who have fallen asleep. ¹⁶ For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a loud summons, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trump of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first; ¹⁷ then we who are living, we who are left, shall be caught up together with them in clouds, to meet the Lord in the air; and so shall we be ever with the Lord.

²³ And her children I will slay with death; and all the churches shall know that I am he who searcheth the reins and hearts; and I will give to every one of you according to your works.

⁵ He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white garments; and I will not blot out his name from the book of life, and I will acknowledge his name before my Father, and before his angels.

¹⁸ And the nations were enraged, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead to be judged, and to give the reward to thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and to them that fear thy name, the small and the great; and to destroy the destroyers of the earth.

⁸ And all who dwell on the earth wilt worship him, every one whose name hath not been written in the book of life of the Lamb that was slain from the foundation of the world.

⁸ The beast which thou sawest, was, and is not, and is to come up out of the abyss, and goeth into perdition; and they that dwell on the earth, whose names have not been written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, will wonder, when they see the beast, that he was, and is not, and yet will come.

⁵ And a voice came forth from the throne, saying, Praise our God, all ye his servants, and ye that fear him, the small and the great.

¹¹ And I saw a great white throne, and him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away, and no place was found for them.

¹³ And the sea gave up the dead which were in it, and death and the underworld gave up the dead which were in them; and they were judged each one according to his works.

²⁷ And there shall not enter into it anything unclean, or that worketh abomination and falsehood; but only they that are written in the Lambs book of life.

¹² Behold, I come quickly, and my reward is with me, to give to every one according as his work is.
