¹⁵ Moreover, if thy brother sin, go and reprove him between thee and him alone. If he listen to thee, thou hast gained thy brother;

³⁵ So also will my heavenly Father do to you, if ye forgive not every one his brother from your hearts.

³ Take heed to yourselves. If thy brother sin, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him. ⁴ And if he sin against thee seven times in a day, and seven times turn to thee, saying, I repent, thou shalt forgive him.

²¹ Be not overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

⁶ Nay, brother goeth to law with brother, and that before unbelievers. ⁷ Now therefore it is altogether an evil among you, that ye have suits against each other. Why do ye not rather submit to wrong? Why do ye not rather allow yourselves to be defrauded? ⁸ But ye yourselves wrong, and defraud, and that too your brethren.

¹² But when ye so sin against the brethren, and wound their weak conscience, ye sin against Christ.

¹⁹ For being free from all men, yet I made myself a servant to all, that I might gain the more; ²⁰ and to the Jews I became as a Jew, that I might gain Jews; to those under the Law, as under the Law, not being myself under the Law, that I might gain those under the Law; ²¹ to those without the Law, as without the Law, being not without a law before God, but under the law of Christ, that I might gain those without the Law;

¹² Although, then, I wrote to you, it was not on account of him that did the wrong, nor of him who suffered wrong; but that your earnestness for us might be made manifest to you in the sight of God.

¹ Brethren, even if a man be detected in a fault, do ye who are spiritual restore such a one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted.

¹³ bearing with each other, and forgiving each other, if any one have a complaint against another; even as Christ freely forgave you, do ye also freely forgive;

⁶ that no one should go beyond and overreach his brother in the matter; because the Lord is the avenger in respect to all these things, as we also told you before and solemnly testified.

¹⁵ yet count him not as an enemy, but admonish him as a brother.

¹⁹ Brethren, if any one among you be led astray from the truth, and one convert him, ²⁰ let him know that he who converteth a sinner from the error of his way will save a soul from death, and will cover a multitude of sins.

¹ In like manner, ye wives, be in subjection to your own husbands, that even if any obey not the word, they may without the word be won by the behavior of the wives,
