² And the twelve called the multitude of the disciples to them, and said, It doth not seem to us proper, that we should leave the word of God, and provide for tables.

¹⁹ But Peter and John answered and said to them, Whether it is right in the sight of God to hearken to you rather than to God, judge ye.

²² What then is to be done? The multitude will necessarily come together; for they will hear that thou hast come.

²⁷ For it seemeth to me unreasonable to send a prisoner and not signify the charges against him;

⁴ No one serving as a soldier entangleth himself with the affairs of life, that he may please him who chose him to be a soldier.
