¹ Follow my example, as I do that of Christ.

² Let each one of us please his neighbor, to promote what is good, for edification. ³ For Christ did not seek his own pleasure, but, as it is written, "The reproaches of those who reproached thee fell on me."

¹⁶ I exhort you therefore, be ye imitators of me.

³³ as I also strive to please all in all things, not seeking my own advantage, but that of the many; that they may be saved.

¹ Be therefore imitators of God, as beloved children; ² and walk in love, as Christ also loved you, and gave himself for you an offering and a sacrifice to God, of a sweet odor.

⁴ looking each of you not to his own interest, but each to the interest of others also. ⁵ Yea, let this mind be in you which was in Christ Jesus,

¹⁷ Brethren, be ye followers together of me, and mark those who walk as ye have us for an example.

⁶ And ye became imitators of us and of the Lord, having received the word in much affliction with joy from the Holy Spirit;

⁹ Not because we have not authority, but to make ourselves an example to you, that ye should imitate us.

¹² that ye may not become slothful, but imitators of those who through faith and endurance inherit the promises.
