Jeremiah 29:17

17 ‘Jehovah of Hosts says: »I am going to send them wars, famines, and plagues. These people are like rotten figs to me, figs that are so bad that they cannot be eaten.

Ezekiel 15:2-5

2 »Son of man, how is the wood of the vine better than any wood of a branch among the trees of the forest? 3 »Can wood be taken from it to make anything?
