³ Then Jehovah said to me: »What do you see, Jeremiah?« I said: »Figs. The good figs are very good. The bad figs are very bad. They cannot be eaten because they are rotten.«

He threw the weight of lead on the opening. ⁹ Two women came out with the wind in their wings. They had wings like the wings of a stork. They lifted up the ephah measure between earth and heaven. ¹⁰ I asked the angel: »Where are they taking the ephah measure?« ¹¹ He answered: »To build her a house (temple) in the land of Shinar. When it is prepared, she will be moved there to her own place.«
