¹ Give thanks to the LORD. Call on his name. Make his deeds known among the peoples.

²³ Surely there is no enchantment with Jacob; neither is there any divination with Israel. Now it shall be said of Jacob and of Israel, what has God done.

⁷ Then on that day David first ordained to give thanks to the LORD, by the hand of Asaph and his brothers. ⁸ Oh give thanks to the LORD. Call on his name. Make his deeds known among the peoples. ⁹ Sing to him. Sing praises to him. Tell of all his marvelous works. ¹⁰ Glory in his holy name. Let the heart of those who seek the LORD rejoice. ¹¹ Seek the LORD and his strength. Seek his face forever more. ¹² Remember his marvelous works that he has done, his wonders, and the judgments of his mouth, ¹³ you offspring of Israel his servant, you descendants of Jacob, his chosen ones. ¹⁴ He is the LORD our God. His judgments are in all the earth. ¹⁵ Remember his covenant forever, the word which he commanded to a thousand generations, ¹⁶ the covenant which he made with Abraham, his oath to Isaac. ¹⁷ He confirmed the same to Jacob for a statute, and to Israel for an everlasting covenant, ¹⁸ saying, "I will give you the land of Canaan, The lot of your inheritance," ¹⁹ when you were but a few men in number, yes, very few, and foreigners were in it. ²⁰ They went about from nation to nation, from one kingdom to another people. ²¹ He allowed no man to do them wrong. Yes, he reproved kings for their sakes, ²² "Do not touch my anointed ones. Do my prophets no harm."

³⁴ Oh give thanks to the LORD, for he is good, for his loving kindness endures forever.

³ Of Jeduthun; the sons of Jeduthun: Gedaliah, and Zeri, and Jeshaiah, and Shimei, and Hashabiah, and Mattithiah, six, under the hands of their father Jeduthun, who prophesied with the harp in giving thanks and praising the LORD.

¹¹ They will speak of the glory of your kingdom, and talk about your power; ¹² to make known to the descendants of Adam his mighty acts, the glory of the majesty of his kingdom.

⁴ In that day you will say, "Give thanks to the LORD. Call on his name. Declare his doings among the peoples. Proclaim that his name is exalted.

¹⁰ Isn't it you who dried up the sea, the waters of the great deep; who made the depths of the sea a way for the redeemed to pass over?

²⁹ Therefore I make a decree, that every people, nation, and language, which speak anything evil against the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, shall be cut in pieces, and their houses shall be reduced to rubble; because there is no other god who is able to deliver in this way."

¹ "Nebuchadnezzar the king, to all the peoples, nations, and languages, who dwell in all the earth: Peace be multiplied to you. ² It has seemed good to me to show the signs and wonders that the Most High God has worked toward me. ³ How great are his signs and how mighty are his wonders. His kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and his dominion is from generation to generation.

²⁶ I make a decree, that in all the dominion of my kingdom men tremble and fear before the God of Daniel; for he is the living God, and steadfast forever. His kingdom shall not be destroyed; and his dominion shall be to the end. ²⁷ He delivers and rescues, and he works signs and wonders in heaven and in earth, who has delivered Daniel from the power of the lions."

³² And it will happen that whoever will call on the name of the LORD shall be saved; for in Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there will be those who escape, as the LORD has said, and among the remnant, those whom the LORD calls.

¹⁴ Here he has authority from the chief priests to bind all who call on your name."

¹³ For, "Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved."
